Ypsilon 5 - Underrated?

Seems like somehow these guys are the long lost cousins of neo goa, hah. I know they featured on Apsara and also have their Binary Sky album, but I think perhaps that came out in a tough year for neo goa?

 

Anyway i dont see them mentioned much, do you think they are underrated?? And when is a new album coming?

Ypsilon5 has some forum activity here from time to time...

I quite liked their CD although it's a bit too *OK more then a bit sometimes* repetitive in my opinion.

On their soundcloud they have some newer stuff which I liked better...has some synthpop/regular trance influences, but they really know how to put emotion in their melodies! https://soundcloud.com/ypsilon5

This track sounds good, I remember back when their album was released it sounded too repetitive and weak(too much of Dimension 5 style and not enough punch and drive to those tracks) to my taste.

Well i speak to David (from Y5) on Facebook from time to time, great guy really. I like their music and from his stories i think we can expect album but don't know when. As Agneton said they make synthpop and is good for me too!
