Ormion
As rolling bass I mean everything that follows the k-bbb-k formula. I didn't want to call it Full On bass since today it's used in pretty much everything. Some of my favs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tt7Sd1u8Dkc and of course the best bass in history Dat bass @ 1:59. Drosophila
Not entirely sure what you mean by "k-bbb-k", if its exactly 3 bass nodes between kicks them I am not sure my suggestions fit I usually take my bass-lines grinding Spindrift - Phaselock (Tales From The Dark Forest) no video on youtube Ka-Sol - Tecmorning Trold - A Way Will Be Made Imaginary Sight - Changing and my current favourite when it comes to rolling bass-lines: Freaking - ICQ ejaculation guarantee @ 2:45 & 4:30 if sound-level=max
Padmapani
i prefer the kick to be the dominant part of the low end, so here's an example of a perfect fit with a subtle bass that's still warm and fat: for epic (standard) kbbb's it's take: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKBOdftSvkM but i've always admired artha's and filteria's bass patches, they often make very fullon-ey basses that still sound completely different and are fatter than in any fullon track while still leaving more than anough room for the melodies on top. filteria's earthrise is a good example: but artha's bali for instance is equally good at this. edit: oh, wait. i've forgotten another of my absolute favourites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyvHOJDMteI 1:58! Manuser
I never really liked Parasense music but you have to admit the album AVANGARD contains a few sick basslines, especially track "Big rave with no name", to play loud: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ENZcG1zmJk Track "Stop the sickness" also is worth a listen, sick bassline. He manages like few other to really integrate his funky bass-lines into the inner structure of his tracks.
