Panoptes
My favorite industrial artist by far. Some of his tracks are so powerful! If you can recommend something similar to this it would be much appreciated . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhAvsVoQXlA
Radioactive Sandwich
NIN is by far my (slice two) favorite band of all time. The Downward Spiral is the greatest album of all time. There really isn't anything else out there like NIN.
technosomy
got into nin and ministry at same time, this track blew me away pretty hate machine is still my favorite
MakkaPakka604
Amazing music although Pretty Hate Machine is the only album that gets regular play time with me anymore. I do enjoy the GWADT soundtrack, terrible films but wonderful music.
GagaISM
Could never relate to the hype surrounding Trent. Whenever I think of him I think of his godawful productions splattered with lyrics that are even worse. Not to mention the rapping... I'd take Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Clock DVA etc. over his weak emo-version of EBM any-fucking-day. Sorry guys, but that's just my opinion... MakkaPakka604
I can see you're point, the lyrics dot grab me a huge amount, but the music is quite good for what it is. The other groups you listed I'm not much in to, industrial type music & EBM is not something I was ever tempted to really delve in to. It never got "big" in Australia or at least the Australia I grew up in.
GagaISM
That's exactly my point. NIN is Industrial for people who are totally ignorant to the genre.
Panoptes
so what is "real" industrial according to GagalSM? His new album is coming out in 3 days. I'll post some of my favorites when the time is right.
