Anyone here using an analog sequencer for actual music production?

Do you mean you use a DAW and additionally you trigger the hardware sequencer of the synth from the DAW?

 

Yes, I feed it MIDI beat clocks for timing but I use the onboard sequencer. I don't 'trigger' it from the DAW, just provide it timing and use the buttons to trigger patterns/tracks.

So....I guess these analog sequencers a cool for live performance. Just keep all your gear synced and you're good to go
