Blair Thaumic
Apitchatpong Weerasethakul. Truly unique and uncanny films. I've seen his Mysterious Object At Noon, Blissfully Yours, Tropical Malady, Syndromes And A Century, and Uncle Boonmee Who Can Remember His Past Lives... all great. GagaISM
Butgeriett's Nekromatik 1, 2 & Der Todesking In A Glass Cage Tsukamoto's Tetsuo: Tokyo Fist, The Iron Man & Tetsuo: Body Hammer Valeri and Her Week of Wonders (A Czech Alice In Wonderland) Svankmajer's Alice, Faust and his early shorts Zulawski's Possession, Diabel, On The Silver Globe Lars Von Trier's The Element of Crime, Europa, The Kingdom TV series, Anti Christ, Melancholia etc. Japanese Toho studio classics like Kwaidan, Jigoku, House, Horrors of Malformed Men etc. Midori - a very weird and surreal Japanese anime film that was singlehandedly drawn by one single guy and only shown at freak shows. Man there's just tons and tons of stuff. I ran an underground cinema for four years where we showed more than 500 films. All hard to find stuff. Most of it never released on any homevideo format. But these should be easy to find.
johnb820
Gozu. Weirdest movie you will likely ever see, one that you will never forget.
