GagaISM
I don't think a single Progressive album made it to the lists in the other thread, so here's one for those. Progressive and Minimal has been brought up quite a lot lately, so I'm more than a little curious to see what albums you guys like Picking albums was hard as many of the best tracks only made it to vinyl and compilations, but my list ended up looking like this: Atmos - Headcleaner Auricular - Audion Beat Bizarre - Lewd Cujorius One - The Art of Mindfucking Haldolium - Deagua K.U.R.O. - Satisfaction Noma - Navigator Process - One Drop or Two? Shiva Chandra - Auricular X-Dream - Radio
MakkaPakka604
The original CDs from early digital structures. Iboga & Tribal Vision also. No other prog has come close since.

GagaISM
Never thought of The Great Unknown as a Progressive album, but it makes perfect sense. Now I'll have to reevaluate my list dammit

healium
In basic order of favorite: Atmos - Headcleaner Beat Bizarre - Mukharv Sensient - The Space Between Solar Fields - Random Friday Phony Orphants - Symphony Klopfgeister - Sweet CompromiseKrumelur - Minimal Animal Protonica - Form Follows Function S-Range - 2001 Stereofeld - Frequenzweschel (I didn't include X-Dream - Radio, Double Dragon - Continuum, Psysex - Hardcore Blastoff, Solar Fields - Earthshine, Koxbox - The Great Unknown, and Hux Flux - Cryptic Crunch because they don't really seem like progressive to me - more like techy, minimal/maximal psytrance - but they are among my favorite albums ever)
GagaISM
The cool thing I discovered about prog is that there's sooooo many different kinds of moods to be found in it... True. I've always found it wierd how some seem to almost categorically deny it's existence. Growing up being a huge fan of Metal led me on a journey though the world of guitar-driven music. From the earliest blues recordings to the abstract vistas of extreme Metal. Always on the hunt for something new, something different. I just cannot fathom how some people can stick to a single subgenre for years and years. It seems fundametally at odds with the basic curiosity it takes to discover such a thing in the first place. Sure Progressive isn't Goa, but Goa isn't Progressive either. They each hold their own unique qualities and potential.
