technosomy Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 this was inspired by an experience from cracking a window with the following track, which has to be my favorite, along with charlies trip, especially the breakdown at 5:20 moral to that story is do not play this in a small apartment with industrial jbl's pletny of others to choose though especially oldschool nitz cyan for eg and if you ever get the chance, play it doesn't matter by chemical brothers loud, with industrials, defiantley gets the bowels going! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ll9r9GP-6Yc Quote

ollylovesgoa Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Miranda - Gnocchi (Remix) has the fattest kick drum out of any Goa track i've heard, it's my benchmark test the power of a sound system haha. But as for basslines, always been in love with this one: Quote
Ormion Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I forgot to say DarkPsy-Elastic Darkness (2nd version). Best bass and kick ever in the same track. Quote
Richpa Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Probably something like this, a bassline that bursts with raw energy and power. Quote
Dolmot Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Miranda - Gnocchi (Remix) has the fattest kick drum out of any Goa track i've heard, it's my benchmark test the power of a sound system haha. All branches of the Ominus family tend to feature ruthless basslines that slowly but surely level rooms and their inhabitants. Ominus - Toxic Brainwaves Psychlopedia - The Gurning Point Æternum - Chainsaw More recent picks include e.g. Portamento - Sugar Shock Radical Distortion - Amorphia To me, full-on sounds like music which first and foremost tries to avoid upsetting people too much with anything that resembles a proper bass wavefront... Those are the heavy picks. Otherwise cool and interesting ones are another story. Quote
johnb820 Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 First that came to mind was Ra - Transcendent. Quote
