Shpongled247
So I finalllly heard goa trance on a huge system at Lost Theory and it was as glorious as I ever imagined Sure, nothing to you Europeans who get it all the time but coming from Australia where I would never get that it was amazing to wake up to! I missed Anoebis set after partying too hard previous nights but got to catch the end of dimension 5 and m run also. On another note I met Joske and he is an amazing person, and has the best vibe. If you ever get a chance to go to something Suntrip related, do ittttt! I will be going to Belgium soon enough! Not sure if this deserved its own thread i was just excited to achieve a life goal haha.

Shpongled247
Goa/Psy in a loud system in an outdoor festival>everything else in this world Haha, pretty much. And, i got to see that people can actually dance to it. Was talking to Joske beforehand and was concerned from past experience that people in Aus didn't know what to do without a "chunky" bassline, but people certainly knew what to do here

radi6404
The best is to hear goa on an expensive system at home in a living room or in a room acustically designed and listening to goa at a moderate volume. The sound and acustics will be much better than in a huge room or outside with echoes and sound delaying because of the time it takes to reach the listener from the speakers, if they are far away. That is at least my opinion on the subject. but on the other side I love hearing goa on my Sennheiser MX 580 earbuds, which are great by the way. I mean I live in Finland but my options are still way short. To build a room, full of expensive equipment, just for listening to goa.
Veracohr
And this is what my dream is. To build a room, full of expensive equipment, just for listening to goa. Fill it with good people and you're got yourself a nice party!

It is great indeet, but a properly isolated room is mostly enough with carped on the floor in order to prevent echoes, some great speakers that cost 1000 per speaker and a great setup and you can listen to Goa properly in my opinion. IronSun
In my opinion, Goa has to be experienced, not only heard, and the best way to do this is to dance to it, with a lot of people on a gigantic soundsystem! For me those are the absolute best moments with the music and hence I encourage anyone who likes the music to just try it! You won't know what hit you, I promise Lost Theory was great indeed! Pity we didn't meet Shpongled... Ah well, there'll always be a next time I guess ^^ GNOTR Retro and Koxbox Retro blew my mind!

Goa does have to be experience but some of us have to do the next best thing, for me thats drugs and my BX8a monitors
radi6404
What drugs do you use for that?
Panoptes
Cannabis mainly. Sometimes I booze up before smoking, resulting in me being blasted into a twisted state which is perfect for goa listening It is psychedelic trance after all.
