heard Solar Quest - Acid Air Raid a looong time ago (recorded it on a cassette at the time!), it still blows all the other acid tracks out of the water IMO, especially in terms of climax, half the track is the buildup to the first "smaller" climax, then the other half builds up to the secong HUGE climax, just great, I'll never get tired of that one!

Yea acid air raid is an old classic but most people know about it

Very nice find! I have to agree that Acid Air Raid is basically the best that acid can get, but I know acouple of acid trance tracks that come close:

 

Melodic with hard acid.

At 5:00 this just might be the tightest acid i've ever heard, so intense.

 

 

 

And this one is less "intense", but still has that genuine oldschool acid and some brutally euphoric acid Trance melodies.

Bassline baby - altered states is my favorite acidtrance track. It's so beautiful. Not intense but pure hypnotic. Perfect.

what i find similar and equally good (but a bit more floating than intense) is microwave prince - cycle evolution.
