Basilisk
I'm just wondering if there's anyone else out there who collects the classic Goa trance releases, on a hobbyist sort of basis (like you would with comic books and the like)... you know, us types who are interested in those early Infinity Project vinyls, know what the green/silver covers of POF records signifies, are still desperately looking for those early Blue Planet Corp 12"s on UFK, and that kind of thing... apart from just finding out if there are any other collectors out there that I don't know of, I'd also like to pass on information regarding a mailing list (for Goa collectors and fanatics) to the right people... reason being: some of us have found that conversation on the topic is often drowned out in many online discussion mediums.. >peace<
Anoebis
Freaky... I was willing to do almost the same... An old skool mailing list for people who want to share all the info about old releases, where you can still buy them etc... And which new releases still sound old-skoolish So I'm willing to help for sure Ps: you have ICQ/msn?

Guest 303
Time ago I'm collecting all the old school records that I see, I'm more cd oriented than vinylfreak, I don't buy modern music, it's too bored my favourite years are 96-98, I have records from before, of the first 90s, but are too similar to the european trance E-rection, Dreamweaver,Tandu.... this music is eternal
Guest cubensis
Yes, I am a collecting nut! Although I look for mostly CDs, I have been collecting a lot of old 12" lately. I have started entering my collection here: http://www.discogs.com/~cubensis But it is by no means complete. Guest 303
I'm 303 in discogs --> http://www.discogs.com/~303 I like many styles of electronic: acid, industrial, old trance..., my goa records must be around 200-220. Also I'm a moderator, I remember your names looking records in discogs. greets to all ;-)
Guest cubensis
Deathposture, You don't have to be a mod to submit releases. I've contibed 20 releases so far. But I do wish I was a mod so I could approve the psy releases faster. They are soooo slow!! I also wish I had the power to clean up some of the pages... Guest Duodenum
there's a local DJ here in NYC named Hugh Sharpe, and he's been around for ages. i went back to his place after a party, and got to browse his vinyl collection... O_o i think he has everything! it made me want to weep. i have always liked psy, but my vinyl collection is acid techno/trance for the most part. as much as i like psy vinyl, i just feel like CD is the better medium for psy music. the clarity is great...
