What do you think about Psysex

What do you think about Psysex? In my opinion that group is one of the more intersting and innovative Israeli music bands and produces very interesting and varied music. The music is psychedelic and varied because of many different sounds being used. The music is rather happy and uplifting ny my opinion, but it is also very driving. For me the group is great and has many psychedelic tracks so I am wondering it is never mentioned here. their ambient tracks are also very good and varied and don`t have to hide from ambient by British artists.

Psysex are one of my very favourites. Expressions of Rage, Hardcore Blastoff and Come in Peace are really neat albums. I don't really know their newer stuff, though. If it's of similar quality and style, somebody should let me know.

I agree with you radi. Psysex is interesting, innovative and really fun to listen to imo. I love all their early stuff and I think his newer stuff is really damn good.

His newer stuff has not so much to do with their older stuff but there isn't anything like it that I know of. Love the sfx driven sound.

Yes, Psysex is an artist that sounds unique somehow. The music sounds very fresh and colorful and therefore differs to other kinds of music.

their first 3 albums are really really amazing imo. Hardcore blastoff is one of my all time fav album.

But after Yoni left the group and started Ace ventura, psysex really lost the touch, magic and uniqness. I personaly don't like a single tune after that from psysex.

Expressions Of Rage was among the first psy/goa albums I ever bought. It's a classic if you ask me and all the tracks rock. My favourite there is Skywalker. Healing is also amazing and imho way better than the two albums inbetween Expressions Of Rage and Healing, I don't really dig those.

I feel kinda ashamed because I didn't knew that Ace Ventura was part of Psysex Anyway I really like the Hardcore Blastoff album, one of my favorite releases from the golden age of psytrance.

A long time ago I read somewhere that they derived the name Psysex from Sysex.

 

From english wikipedia:

Yea Hardcore Blastoff is one of my top 10 fav albums ever in psytrance - they have such a fresh style!

 

Haven't heard Healing..

One of my all time favorites from Israel .... however since their split things went downhill for me .... don't really like Ace Ventura + did not find Healing that spectacular .... definetely not on par with the first 3 albums!!
