Penzoline
I had an extreme amount of hype for this release. Finnish artist, lovely tracks on soundcloud, suntrip release? Unfortunately this fluffy Nebula style is not something I come back to. The first track is exactly what I was hoping for, trippy, psychedelic, groovy as hell. Most of the tracks excel at the style it's going for but lack the excitement his more psychedelic and stronger uptempo works do. For example because it is so excruciatingly slow paced, I get sleepy bored in tracks like Superluminal Connection, Psychic Beacon(Though the ending is good), Agape Sophia and Alnatik Sunrise. I also ended up finding a couple of tracks tracks cheesy such as Alnatik Sunrise and Superluminal Connection. All of the afro-mentioned tracks I find average at best or just plain boring musically. The good parts of this album are definitely the more faster paced One-Eyed Reptile, Stardust Chronicles and Mindstream Continuum, which I found completely brilliant on their own. The kind of sound Nebula excels at, silky smooth but fast paced progression, groovy smart melodies and hooks with wondrously unique sounds and production. After an immense amount of hype, the album ended up being an average, more of a mid to downtempo, release in my books. It is unique for sure and has a great producer behind it, so if you are into this type slow paced style, then this album might even be great, but for me it ended up being a total disappointment. For reference you can find other uptempo works by nebula here. Urge you to check out tracks like Modern Shamanism and The Sacrament https://soundcloud.com/nebulameltdown Also he had a finnish Mixeri account for those curious with some awesome tracks. http://www.mikseri.net/artists/nebula-meltdown/bending-space-2009-mix/433065/

Too bad many of the SoundCloud tracks aren't available for download or available elsewhere.

One-Eyed Reptile is very nice. The rest are ok to meh.
Kitrinos
My favourite is easily Mindstream Continuum. I prefer the 2nd part of the album as well (6-9). The artwork is beautiful.
