radi6404
So I created a smaple to demonstrate a pop song I like. It is a 90s or 80s Pop song but I do not think people are likely to know it on this forum. I will try it anyway and hope you know it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ks7e3i5luqrc76g/sample%201.mp3 [https://www.dropbox.com/s/ks7e3i5luqrc76g/sample%201.mp3]
trancenonZENsedance
Somehow reminded me of Tok Tok vs. Soffy O (2002). None of the tracks seem to really fit your sample, though, except for, maybe, Day of Mine, even though it's much slower if that's really the track you seek... http://www.discogs.com/Toktok-Vs-Soffy-O-Toktok-Vs-Soffy-O/master/126625 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WC9pXj2aYW8
radi6404
No, it is not that songunfortunately. The song is much more sounding like the melody in the sample, however it is slower than the sample. I don`t know which song it is but I have to find it because I really like that track. radi6404
Ok, in a different forum they helped me out with the song, it is Diana Ross - Upside down. There are very good classic songs from the 80s and 90s which somehow are not recreated these days, people don`t manage to produce songs with such an nostalgic and magic sound. The baslsine and the background synths of the original and especially of the remix are more than impressive.
RTP
Uuuh damn I felt like I almost had it ... and then I see that you've found the name already. Anyway, the remix is good indeed ... I don't like the singing (which is why I generally am not into that kind of music), but the part with the four tone ambient tune that plays in the background at 2:00 onwards (for example), that one is what does it for me. The sound -- meaning only the caracteristic of the sound, not the structure or melody -- reminds me a bit of songs like Eric Prydz - Call On Me and Daft Punk - One More Time... Do you like these aswell?
radi6404
There is an impressive remix for call on me but unfortunately I only heart it on one road video and never managed to find it elsewhere. All other remixes suck compared to that one. Listen at 16 50, the remix is impressive, also the Vannos ala playa Remix. That is how Pop music should be remixed in my opinion.
