I love psytrance with many many style of psytrance (tech/trance, trance goa, old school, full on, dark, deep, minimal, proggy, experimental.......)

Bud i love too hardtek and hardcore, frenchcore, not gabber or commercial hardcore.

And i would know (with your opinion) if like psytrance is strange to like hardtek - hardcore.

I know that many psytrance lovers hate hardtek - hardcore and inversely.

And you ?

In hardtek, i love heretik ( a french project) >>> www.heretik.net

In hardcore, i love Manu le malin, Laurent Ho, Radium, Micropoint and the Core-Tex label (excellent!!! in the website of core-tex, try Shatterbreak and Paf Le Chien, great artists !!!) >>> www.core-tex.org

"frenchcore"??? I think you mean speedcore/ terror

Yeah, I liked it a lot back in the days, but I kinda lost touch with the scene these last years... damn, I really should give some new releases a listen!! :-)

And yes, usually the 2 styles are exclusive, not so much for the music IMO (they're both fast and agressive derivatives of electronic music), but for the ideology behind them: goa is for hippies, peace and love and all while hardcore is for neo-nazi violent skinheads... of course this is only a very very general categorization, but I guess you can see why usually one who's into goa doesn't like hardcore... But to me music is music :-)

No Frenchcore is not speedcore, frenchcore is hardcore bud french !! Simply !

Laughing out loud ! You say : "hardcore is for neo nazi violent skinheads"

It's wrong ! Totaly wrong ! Come to a free party hardtek or hardcore, people are fun, cool, peace, perhaps a little less of psytrance people bud it's really a huge mystake to say hardcore is for violent people.

Rap, rnb, hip hop, ok, that's is for violent people and stupid too :)

Lemmiwinks, we're on the 21 siecle, we're not on 1990 years.

It's finish the moment of hardcore is for neo nazi and more.

I KNOW!!! I was merely pointing out that in the GENERAL opinion, that's how a hardcore listener is described and that people stay away from it because of the general image attached to it!!!!

I still don't get your frenchcore thing... didn't Manu le Malin initially release stuff under the Industrial Strenght label? That's from the US... ah well

HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE!! hehe yea i listen to alot of hardcore but i dont know any psy people who listen to it, fuckin hippies. I like alot of noisecore/speedcore and more intelligent terror.. dont like dutch cheesecore:) I like bloody fist, DOA/temper tantrum/dj skinhead, radium, hellfich, delta 9, all the stuff on industrial strength records (ny label) bla bla. I dont live in nyc anymore so my contact with 'the scene' is pretty minimal.. guess the scene is pretty minimal itself:)
