Penzoline Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 It's been a while, but it came with a video too! Listen to those powerful israeli melodies and orchestral elements! Time to review this masterpiece??? Trance2moveU!? How could we have forgotten about this gem. Quote
Guest Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 hah, this video reminds me about an old group "Army of Lovers" Quote
Padmapani Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 i love how he uses those speech samples in such a mysterious, unobtrusive and highly psychedelic way instead of making them cheesy like so many aritsts (for instance filteria) do. Quote
technosomy Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 i am waiting for the next supergroup............... infected skazi!! Quote
ion1zed Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Abysmal. btw the only guy who ever looked kinda cool with corpse painting is Gaahl. Quote
K-BAN Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I watched all 4 minutes. shame on me. ;p I should dig out the really old Skazi to compare to this. Quote
psytones Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I "like" his belt buckle. Is super. - It would be awesome for some reason to have a singing contest between the Duvdev and Skazi. Not sure who would win though. Their both winners anyway Quote
healium Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Seriously, someone should create a spoof track and video by an artist called "Infected Mushroom vs. Skazi" and post it up on youtube and everywhere else.. I'd do it if I had any idea how to create electronic music.. Quote
mars Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Skazi? I though (hoped) he was dead. That's Israeli pop music, not psytrance. i love how he uses those speech samples in such a mysterious, unobtrusive and highly psychedelic way instead of making them cheesy like so many aritsts (for instance filteria) do. Wrong example. FYI there is not a single sample on the latest Filteria album. Quote
Rotwang Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Skazi? I though (hoped) he was dead. That's a bit much, isn't it? Apparently he's a nice guy. Quote
Ormion Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Well at least he doesn't try to sell it as psytrance (does he?). And the song has zero psy elements, maybe except the kick. It's still horrendous though. Quote
Dolmot Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Sounds/looks quite normal to me, if you treat it as pop and consider the tiny hints of trance purely coincidental. (I didn't really even notice any.) Then again, the only way I come across pop nowadays is watching the Eurovision song contest annually so my definition of "normal" may be a bit warped. But is the video about turning everyone into clowns? Quote
Padmapani Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Wrong example. FYI there is not a single sample on the latest Filteria album. i know, i listen to it regularly. but he's just a master at putting the right samples (which are both interesting and food for the mind) at the right places. i was thinking of tracks like tiny universe or illogical logic here. Quote
Panoptes Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Wrong example. FYI there is not a single sample on the latest Filteria album. doesn't the 909 open high hat count as a sample? Quote
