Ormion
With the tons of releases today it's easy for an album to get buried under the pile, so in this thread we may shade some light to some of them that deserve more recognition. Please narrow down your selections about albums released between 2010-2013 so we don't have endless lists. Orestis-Recursive Consciousness It's 'normal' darkpsy that many people seem to seek out. No superfast bpm, no glitches, pure darkpsy. LAB-Roleplayers Another great darkpsy album that got lost. Very impressive. Mojo-Urban Tribal A combination of progressive, full on and tribal trance. Very interesting. Dragon-Spirals Of Time Not entirely unknown, but for its quality vastly underrated. It's cyber-forest psytrance or something. The Daleks-All Your Bass Are Belong To Us Completelly unknown release with a very unique characteristic sound. Freestyle psy with dark atmopshere and melodies. Leppy-Rust One of the few albums of the last years that still contains that pure phat South African sound. Hybrid Leisureland-Variable One of the best melodic ambient I've ever heard. Manju-Now Pretty similar with artists like Yudhisthira and Imaginary Sight. Melodic, forest neogoa or something.

It's cyber-forest psytrance or something. Awesome album. Alwoods - Aeolian Mode (2011) Alwoods - Long Life Forest (2013) Two progressive chill/psybient albums I enjoyed very much, but not many people seem to have taken note of. Highly recommended. Aeolian Mode: http://www.altar-records.com/alwoods.html Long Life Forest: http://altar.bandcamp.com/album/long-life-forest Chaotic Synthetics - Transuniverse Express (2011) No-bullshit-psy with a particular dark and cold sci-fi atmosphere to it. A bit like some of Cybernetika's stuff imo. Extremely energetic with some nice sci-fi movie voice samples. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJMIQ7ik6f4 Check out how the track transforms at around 3:30...awesome. BraneFreeze
I just discovered these two EPs from Digital Psionics: >> Dark Nebula - Moonshine EP (2010) >> Dark Nebula - Sunburn EP (2010) http://www.discogs.com/Dark-Nebula-Moonshine-EP/release/3705042 http://www.discogs.com/Dark-Nebula-Sunburn-EP/release/3705032 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usT0KyJssVM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3wNk9GrV4k

No superfast bpm, no glitches, pure darkpsy. Oresetis had a lot of hype on Isra, as usual with dark psy releases back then, but in the end i found it rather generic and boring to my ears... The same sounds all the way through and just doesnt seem to go anywhere.. Similar to many dark producers I guess. Cheers for the others though, will check them out! JISNEGRO
Manju-Now Pretty similar with artists like Yudhisthira and Imaginary Sight. Melodic, forest neogoa or something. OMG! Thank you very much for the recommendation!
K-BAN
(pretending its not 2014) A little while back I discovered this artist I think due to a song on DI radio. this album is a stomper! You would of thought this was Absolum. Maybe even another french guy. NOPE! 2 Mexican psycho's that must of been birthed from 3D Vision but adoption by Materia ;p Speedball - Human Disorder http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/mte/mte1cd011.html and I today discovered this release on the same label. older than 4 years but you should still know about it! 8) I will be buying this on my next purchase. Shpongled247
Ekoplex - Creatures of the Forest http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/ekoplex-creatures-of-the-forest Really nice "full on" from ray, quite psychedelic and driving, not really light not really dark. Just straight down the line psytrance with a forest theme, but not "forest psy". My favourite release from him.

Aeolian Mode: http://www.altar-records.com/alwoods.html Long Life Forest: http://altar.bandcamp.com/album/long-life-forest I second that, for the fans of Akshan's music those two should be a treat (also Sephira - Imagination in Motion, but this one seems to have gained some buzz). desysko
Leppy-Rust One of the few albums of the last years that still contains that pure phat South African sound. Quite a nice album. Not really what I expected it to be (which is a good thing).

BraneFreeze
Sonic Elysium - Mahaon (2011) Sonic Elysium is Alexey Mamzelev and Igor Gorbachev from Moscow. This album has received some recognition but maybe deserves more. The last three tracks are collaborations with Zirrex. http://www.discogs.com/Sonic-Elysium-Mahaon/release/3298358 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXTDZg4aqXE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TFoG649hHk

Blubber
Anix Gleo - Fatum well, maybe readers here could know it since i mentioned it few times, so, this would fit better in the thread "Albums from the last 4 years no one seems to care about" but i couldn't find the topic. anyway, great crossover of styles and influences, perfect for uncommon psyheads and home/car-listening.
