Padmapani
LOL down with the illuminati. hail eris all hail discordia! but it does have some validity. tomorrowland probably is the thing in edm that's the furthest romved from what the trance dance experience is all about. it's more like a concert than anything else.. ion1zed
A colleague of mine wanted to attend Tomorrowland, and that's exactly what I said to her...it has nothing to do with a dance experience. I showed her some videos of Tomorrowland, Defqon, Lost Theory and Ozora...now she will attend Ozora

I've been to concerts that were closer to the 'trance dance experience' than the average goa party.. But I understand what you mean, a festival like that is really not my cup o' tea. But live and let live.

technosomy
couldn't give a fuck about the festival, but can't deny it has alot of symbolism in it
Lemmiwinks
couldn't give a fuck about the festival, but can't deny it has alot of symbolism in it well obviously, it's supposed to be a fairytale land, do it takes a lot of its inspiration from fairytales... which in their turn took inspiration from pagan elements who were later deemed "evil" by the chruch... As from Tomorrowland being far from the trance dance experience hmm well yes and no, yes it is very expensive and the main scene is commercial, however there are lost of other smaller scenes that keep it pretty real (including a psytrance one ). And tripping while wandering through the deco, I can tell you it's one unique experience

Multi-Media
Interesting, now "modern electronic music" is satanic too ? Seems they progressed from metal than The Illuminati are satanists, right ? It has connection to the freemasons and skull and bones etc. so far I gathered from severall sources..

Well, from some of the album art I've seen on Ektoplazm.com I would say that the "satanism" statement would be half right. Some Psytrance art contains lots of symbolism including the most famous Illuminati Pyramid (which includes the capstone) sometimes with or without the all-seeying-eye. Saw another album with the Leviathan symbol and another with a Triquetra on the cover.

Multi-Media
Well, from some of the album art I've seen on Ektoplazm.com I would say that the "satanism" statement would be half right. Some Psytrance art contains lots of symbolism including the most famous Illuminati Pyramid (which includes the capstone) sometimes with or without the all-seeying-eye. Saw another album with the Leviathan symbol and another with a Triquetra on the cover. Interesting, but honestly I often don´t notice such details. Also I only learned in recent years of some of the symbols like pyramids, all seeing eye and certain hand gestures. I just saw a pic in the newspaper with some "princess" from Sweden who made the horns symbol. Well that´s a normal metal gesture, but if she has no conection to metal it may be the illuminati/satan sign It is said most royal families are masons/illuminati. Blackmetal normally has most of this stuff, but I also learned that many bands give a shit about satan & co. They just use it cause it´s cool, fits the image and just belongs to this style. Most BM bands aren´t satanist anyway. But stuff on Ectoplazm ? No idea, guess I wouldn´t care if the sound is cool Also only recently learned how much stuff metal&goth bands draw from ancient times, like the Baphomet was a babylonian god (but evil I guess) or the Nephilim which were half human half alien giants in ancient / sumerian / persian writings. See for example: So these are harmless...... But some say the "stars" and "vips" are more dangerous: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kPM8x1lfcU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-54LNFDolc
Psynonamous
It is said most royal families are masons/illuminati. True, many are Blue Lodge Masons, 3rd Degree Masons, Skull & Bones members, Knights of Malta, etc. etc.. Blackmetal normally has most of this stuff, but I also learned that many bands give a shit about satan & co. They just use it cause it´s cool, fits the image and just belongs to this style. Most BM bands aren´t satanist anyway. Most aren't, some are. Good example would be Cradle of Filth. But some say the "stars" and "vips" are more dangerous: They are, how many people knows a friend that dress like Rihanna, has a hairstyle like Rihanna, and forbid even acts like Rihanna. I used to. One of the oldest dualities on the world is the battle of good versus evil. Whether these symbols are used to affect people in a certain way will be just as much a conspiracy theory as the mystery behind the symbols itself. Maybe it's a matter of opinion whether a particular person believes Tomorrowland is evil of nature. Some will think it's serious, some would think it's absurd. Other would think it's meh. Personally, even if I had the chance to go to Tomorrowland I would skip it, ever since I started listening to psytrance I dropped all other electronic genres.
Rotwang
Most aren't, some are. Good example would be Cradle of Filth. No, CoF are just putting it on for the sake of being edgy.

Richpa
CoF, lol, that is one really ridicilous example. Anyway, something known but more on the serious side (compared to CoF), even they're not so much into it like other LHP bands/projects who are creating inspiring music and art. Multi-Media
This worries me a lot. http://downloadfestival.co.uk/rfid-dog-tags Well if festival goers like to be discriminated and called "dogs" (btw. this is not against dogs I like them) then they are self to blame. Seems ppl. lack critical thinking skills these days more and more. Why don´t they boykott such events ?

Multi-Media
We can make a case in regards to psy with all its symbolism. This case however would be only a strong one, if many more artists would make it "big": Almost no one know psy or goa anyway. It was shocking to see that so many ppl. think this pathetic band "eagles of death metal" would ply death metal. They do not even play metal. That shows even a style pretty popular (DM) is not recognized by most "normal" people. How would it be psy ? We can only look in the most famous band(s) if they have satanic/illuminati symbolism. Cause only these would make an impact. And it must be signed by a big label. Most popular would be Infected, right ? So one could examine them. BTW: Their (eodm) popularity and sales rose like a rocket after the Paris event - which was most likely another "false flag"
