Hallucinating Posted March 31, 2014 Share Posted March 31, 2014 Okay, I'm not asking "how to make this melody", I wanna know how melodies like this one are structured and I can't seem to figure it out correctly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvQqrbAlKOA The melody comes in @ 4:32 I know it's a resonant saw with delay @ filter cutoff, but how are these notes arranged? Are these done using 1/16th notes, 1/32 notes? I know scales and stuff so that's not a problem, but also how would these look like in a scale would they be all strecthed out across an entire octave or grouped closely together? Djuna Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 In that specific melody of Sherkan there aren't chords, it's one note for each 16th step.
