JISNEGRO Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Simply put, one of the best things that has happened lately to the goa scene. Neogoa is characterized for being too fluffly, overloaded with shinny morning melodies (I do like it! ), but I am glad that Alexandr chose the darker side of goa trance and is a relief to listen to his tracks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ye7LhG__pU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEshpfsTmXA 1 Quote
Penzoline Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Yes I wholeheartedly agree. He is a fantastic producer. I also really love the fact he chose sci-fi themes for names and such, but I always wondered how he became to choose the nickname. It's in finnish - Ufomatka meaning "alien trip" - but he's actually from Ukraine, so why the finnish name? Very odd. 1 Quote
desysko Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 What would be great if his presence in the scene increases the amount of the darker style of trance. What a great producer. 1 Quote
Scandinasia Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Awesome alien vibration ! Perfect for Sci-Fi deliriums ! Would it be a good idea to count all the night-side Goa projects of these past few years ? It would give us a more precise idea of the dark potential of neo goa scene. I count : Toï Doï Ka-Sol Javi Baron Samdi, an alias of PharaOm who just left the scene K.O.B. Ufomatka maybe Morphic Resonance Portamento, Alienapia and New Born also seem to be twilght oriented. 1 Quote

Yes, it`s interesting. Quote

Spicy_RolL Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 For my taste, he is the best Ukrainian psytrance producer Quote

Spicy_RolL Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 A fresh darker goa-stormer, discovered by Neogoa - Morphic Resonance!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1f2OnGepc5o http://soundcloud.com/morphic-resonance-goa Quote

Track from the first post is one of the best from Dancing Mavka compilation, great project indeet! Strange, I've always read this one 'Ufomatika' too. To cloud things even more I'll add that 'matka' in polish means 'mother' and 'ufo' is quite self explanatory, so there you go . Quote
ma05683 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 i'll keep the note about Morphic Resonance.THANKS Quote
Balance Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Love this guy's stuff on Anjuna etc. Would love an album from UFOmatka on CD. Anjuna please? Actually would love him to get together with Mr Sandman from Israel & do a CD of 10+ minute deep sci fi psy trance!! Quote
Starkraver Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 ^ Ufomatka & Sandman!! Woooooo that would be a killer combo. Quote
Blair Thaumic Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Nothing against Ufomatka, but at this point I'd just like to hear new Sandman. Quote
Starkraver Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Nothing against Ufomatka, but at this point I'd just like to hear new Sandman. Anything on the lines of Natural Born Killer would be nice. But has he been active lately? I only know of Tribal Encore -starfinder (live mix) has he produced any new stuff? Quote
