Panoptes Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 fullon and prog tends to be least interesting. I don't have much familiarity with hitech and psycore but from i've heard maybe those too? Quote
K-BAN Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Twilight, of course. I really like twilight but something I noticed from hearing it lot at festivals last year and the cds/releases I've been purchasing.. its following the same sound structures. Loud and blaring sounds but still lacking distinguished artist sounds. Its starting to just be blaring hard psy music. Twilight was once easy to tell artists apart. Now its as if everyone wants to smash the way Khopat does and what Absolum planted the seeds to (in my opinion) ;p Quote
GagaISM Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I tend to gravitate towards artists that represent a unique sound of their own. Astral Projection, Koxbox, Juno Reactor, X-Dream, K.U.R.O., Ubar Tmar etc. I have zero interest in music that is based solely on genre conventions. A generic Goa track is just as useless to me as shitty full-on. In that case, the lower the volume, the better. Quote
Victo_Ries Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 This is kind of embarassing... Sorry if you guys think that's embarassing, but claiming that full-on is dead in a forum full of nostalgic purists and people who cheer the whole 'neo-goa' trend that most of the time is anything but 90s canons remade with modern equipment is way more embarassing than this. Please go on and make the umpteenth thread about "the best goa tracks of '91" or "etnica vs AP who wins" whatever. and yes, i am the one who runs Zombster, in case you were wondering about. Quote

Redington Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I don't know. Saying something that died implies it had to have lived at some point... imo. Never liked full-on. Progressive not that great.... bla bla bla, what doesn't really matter anyway? Quote
Cynos Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Hi-tech, recent Iboga and Nano stuff (generic progressive) and bad full-on. Quote
