Lemmiwinks
I second Towelie's "what ?????" First of all, Shpongle is chill-out... if you like Shpongle, you'll probably like Entheogenic, TIP - Mystical Experiences, V/A - Mystery of the Yeti 1 and 2, V/A - The Mystery of the 13 Crystal Skulls and more recently Hallucinogen - In Dub, OTT - Blumenkraft and Younger Brother - A Flock of Bleeps. And don't forget that Shpongle themselves have 2 albums and a remix album... Second of all, Infected Mushroom have IMO a very unique style that is done only by them. They might change their style from one album to another but still I can instantly recognize it's IM just after their synthlines and melodies. So I don't see what "alternative" you'd have to IM. other than that, I agree that you should check out the albums highlighted in red in the review section, it'll give you a good idea of what this psytrance thing is all about SMI²LE
Guest tsuki
if u like infected, try listening to their inspiration of source> Hallucinogen.. erez often looked up to si !!
Lemmiwinks
I'd definately wouldn't say that Hallucinogen and IM have the same style... SMI²LE
Guest vasyachkin
ye thats bullshit. infected and shpongled are not typical sounding for any genre. closest band to infected mushroom is psysex. there is nothing like shpongled.
Guest vasyachkin
i mean shpongle, not shpongled
Guest grahf
Shulman, Entheogenic, and Bluetech come somewhat close to sounding like Shpongle, but they are all different and original enough that the comparison is a pretty broad one. Guest Ale
i'm waiting for new Talpa : The Art Of Being None / Sundance
Guest Duodenum
it's always funny when people refer to IM's "style". what exactly is their style? 'cause all four albums sounds pretty different IMO, with BPE and the trance side of CV being the most alike. this is another reason i don't understand people that write them off because "their style is too" whatever. Guest Manu_S
if you like "infected mushroom", you 'll like "hallucinogen", but i agree both are not very similar
