Ormion Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 So I just discovered this track. It's from 1999 and if it sounds familiar is because apparently Black Eyed Peas ripped it off for I Got A Feeling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7drHJ71rIw Anyway I'm looking for similar soothing and nostalgic trance. Post some stuff. BTW does anyone know anything about the artist? I can't find him in Discogs. Quote
trancedigital Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 From the fantastic album: http://www.discogs.com/Ayla-Nirwana/master/89773 Quote
Manuser Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 BTW does anyone know anything about the artist? I can't find him in Discogs. Apparently this artist tried to sue Black eyed peas but it didn't work out...and like you said he doesn't exist on Discogs. So my opinion is : he might have been the one who ripped off the melody and then tried to get easy money ! never try never know (just my theory maybe i'm wrong) Anyway the song you posted reminds me in style this ooold song from DJ Quicksilver (Bellissima) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62bFU3kUKoQ Quote
Ormion Posted July 4, 2014 Author Posted July 4, 2014 So my opinion is : he might have been the one who ripped off the melody and then tried to get easy money Well his track is from 1999 so that's unlikely. Thanks for the recommendations (how did I forget Ayla?). Keep'em coming. Quote
Manuser Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 But apparently there is no proof it's from 99 the track is on youtube since 2011 and not on Discogs. (sorry for the off topic by the way). Yeah Ayla is solid. A bit different in style, more "housey" but a classic when it comes to relaxing trance: Quote
psyber Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 not exactly trance, but man,, this video, so many memories........ Quote
angular_sound Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Loved Tekara and Rui Da Silva : good musical nuggets ! Quote
Veracohr Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I don't think I've ever equated trance with the word 'relaxing', but for me, the ultimate trance nostalgia is the album TranceGlobalNation2. So many classic songs on that album that are the ultimate nostalgia for me! Quote
