well I can't really say I'm up to date in psytrance anymore, although I still have a certain knowledge of newschool releases, however I realize that my dark psy collection is SERIOUSLY lacking new material, I think the last dark psy album I really enjoyed was Orestis - Recursive Consciousness and that was like 3 years ago (my how time flies...). So anything new in the scene? Some artists that I should know about?

If you liked Orestis I think you'll enjoy these too:

Akes-2012 Remixes

Dragon-Spirals Of Time

Silent Horror-Seance

V/A-Infinity Keepers 2

V/A-Circus Obscuri

Yata-Garasu-Soul Resonance

V/A-The World We Live In 2

thanks mate, I knew I could count on good ol' Ormion for some good picks. I acutally listened quite extensively to Silent Horror a few years back and then for some reason completely forgot about it, thanks for reminding me. Especially liking the Akes album from your recomendations :)

Very experimental stuff, it took me few listens to get into it. And it's amazing journey, Ghreg is back!! :-)

Yeah, love Goch's album!

Ghreg On Earth's "Photon Grimoires" is great, continuing his rather unique style. Heavily influenced by dubstep, but in a good way!

I just bought "Brazilian Shamans" on Woo-Dog Recordings. 2CDs of immense night-time tunes!

Brainzcrew 3 is decent, too.
