SkeletonMan
Hi K-BAN and all you other psynews'ers Yeah, damn, what a blast and so happy we were able to get the photo shoot in place Not easy with you-know-who jumping around and never being around for the photo.. But yeah, absolutely amazing festival. I had completely forgotten how amazing these festivals are. My last one was Boom 2006 but ZNA was just as amazing if not more. The right size where you met people again, absolutely freaking awesome spot, perfect weather & water and lovely, lovely nice people. I would change nothing. The only question is what will be cooking in Portugal in 2016 ..?! (Boom to big, will need smaller). ah ha! I misread your post about this lucid SkeletonMan figure. As you by now know my story on how that went ;p You guys are a lovely bunch and I really would love to have you and the new friends made from this trip around for more events or just casually hanging. This was a real special event for me with the music for sure and just as much so the people I met talked and laughed with the whole week. I really didn't expect this much heart warming from new friends and travelling solo overseas. This is a week I will never forget. And heres the Psynews gang that at least was around. A few others could of made it in apparently. Guys I didn't end up meeting. Im not certain on all exact forum names but left to right here you have SkeletonMan, Staffan, Me, PaulEye, Drosophila, Anoebis and .... pdinklag?? if I can remember some of what you told me?? and where you posted recently... SkeletonMan
thanks to whoever our cameraman was haha! it took some effort the whole day to get all of us together at the start of Union Jack. And see the legs between Paul & Drosophila? those are two German friends I made that trip. They later told me they have a group picture of us from behind so I will message them and see if I can get it haha! and heres a video during when SUN Project played. I know Drosophila hasnt seen this yet. What a good day! I miss it so much. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKfna8IwlwY Damn, good job !! K-BAN
This is the first time I've seen myself dancing on a video I love it! And any time looking over and see you I felt good and wanted to keep dancing too. 8) sore feet or not. It feels good to see the excitement of friends. The night when all of us were there for Technossomy followed by Darshan, that was pure magic! All the buds and killer music 8) mmmhmm! Oh god, Union Jack did an awesome set, I enjoyed so much. The whole festival was fantastic. UX, Technossomy, Jaia, BPC, MFG, Goblin... Just so much great music. Pure Intellect, Master of the Universe, Pyramid, V.T.O.L, Magnetic Activity, Overload. I will definitely going back if there's another ZNA in 2017. I wish I wasnt so tired for UX. The stuff I wanted to hear came on while I was still in the hammock at the dancefloor haha! I heard Master of the Universe and nearly got out, then UX ended on that one I think.. the previous day and night were just too tiring. And am jealous of this Goblin mix you heard. I was for sure mostly asleep through it in the hammock still. Cool hat Drosophila, Nice one, Paul Eye oh we had a blast! I love every moment catching our favorite acts together or just pal'n around the festival grounds. it was a very easy layout. camping and the lake at one end with everything inbetween on the way to one or the other. perfect size for sure! and first watching this video, I thought Drosophila was my new German buddy since they have similar hats. Its cool our small circle made it into the clip ;p You should have seen me when Xenomorph played. Fuck yes that was the best gig I've experienced in years PS. I'd appreciate it if you guys would use Paul Eye instead of PaulEye. Nitpicking maybe, it just annoys me. noted! ;D and yes - Xenomorph, Technossomy, Darshan and SUN Project were definitely my favs of the event. I felt so much energy during them ;O awsome fellas.. so jealous!ZNA will most likely return for 2017 Im guessing. lets all shoot for that! Before this event I was thinking of being done with parties for awhile. But while there I thought a future ZNA just has to be something I do. To see the friends again and what will be another good line-up. So I will try my best ;p

The only question is what will be cooking in Portugal in 2016 ..?! (Boom to big, will need smaller). well everyone had their own agendas ^_- some of us wanted to catch the same artists, some of us slept when others danced or ate food. and we had 4 different base camps. It worked and glad it did I enjoyed seeing everyone shake hands and greet the others after the photo as well. A big awwww haha Boom is too big and crowded. Nearly everyone agreed on the festival size and how you see the same faces, whether you talked to these people or not. This was especially nice because we were always running into a friend and spending time with them or at least figuring out their plan for the next few hours. ZNA was my favorite festival/party experience to date. It can only be outdone by another ZNA I think. and before I forget - please let there be video of when you met the other guy with the light up suit!!! That made my night!!!! sooo funny 8))
Paul Eye
Xenomorph, Technossomy, Darshan and SUN Project were definitely my favs of the event. I felt so much energy during them ;O Same, and add Psychaos and Shakta to that aswell
K-BAN
I think some of the expectations not met should be said... both Manmademan (who Ive wanted to see for so long) didn't play many classics at all. Not even 'Karahana' which is probably their most popular classic track. Neither did they play Radar, Creation Myth, Drama or Deliverance among others I would of liked to hear. And the bass was a little much on some tracks with a full-on, almost prog, groove. And MFG played very few oldies. Im forgetting what else now other than that the subwoofer was sometimes too much on some sets.
Paul Eye
Yeah, MFG played stuff from The Prophecy era and some new stuff. Nothing from New Kind Of World or Project Genesis, well apart from that horrible fullon cheese remix of New Kind Of World. Didn't really care that much for any of the DJs, apart from what I heard of Jean Borelli & Kristian, and Solitare (both of said sets I didn't hear in full). DJ Bim played more cheese than I could stomach. And Alpha with his hi-tech/darkpsy set was unbearable for me. And some sets I missed because I just had to sleep. Like UX (heard just a bit of the beginning before I fell asleep), Lotus Omega and Crop Circles (heard some of both to my tent between waking up and falling asleep and waking up and falling asleep again), DJ Goblin (missed it completely and I heard it was awesome), OOOD (heard a bit from the beginning before I passed out). And say what you want, but Filteria as the surprise act at the end wasn't exactly a nice surprise. Yes I know you all love him but I've seen him live way too many times to get excited anymore. I could have thought of a dozen better newschool goa artists as an alternative
K-BAN
I can look at it in a positive way where at least ZNA played every style of music - well except suomi psytrance ;O Alpha was like WTH?! I forgot about that ;p but it was a perfect opportunity to sleep and get some rest before UX (even if I napped through most of it) and the morning sets from Manmademan and MFG. I'd wish I caught Lotus Omega. Im unfamiliar with their music and the last track I came in on was pretty good. Yea, I would still beg, plead and give blood to have Toi Doi as a final act for the mainstage. I too have seen Filteria several times. Im so so with his style. I like it much more than Etnica which played before him. Something about the goa with many layers going lightspeed makes me zone through a mix. I gotta say some of that acid Filteria let loose sounded goooood!and a popular choice for IF we could choose an artist for next ZNA would be Slide. That'd make a nice finisher, too 8)

The Search, First Contact, Alien Hitmen, Waking Up To Chaos, Synapse Stroker, the Unstable album in its entirety, Creepy Crawly and his Satori tracks with Process, his Radiation tracks with Chris Conklin. That would kick some serious ass

Drosophila can't wait to party! ha! we should of done a jig like that. maybe line dancing... maybe not ;p I been thinking the last two days that I still havent done my idea of being on the dancefloor with aluminum foil hats or attire. maybe next ZNA we get a few to do this haha! Drosophila
Haha, great to see both the picture and video and what a great festival, if it wasn't for the excessive bass and the positioning/direction of sound-system it would have been a perfect festival...! I'm still high on all the positive energy I got from the place and the the people there (including you guys)! Freaking awesome! My favorite experiences there, music-wise, was Etnica vs Plaidians, Crop Circles, Darshan and SUN project was just a great party, people were really digging it... fun fun fun! I'm definitely there next time if the figure out a better way to set up the stages

Figuratevly speaking but from a literal standpoint. makes senses? cool. Did DJ Jörg play Spiritual Healing? did Pleadians and Etnica and Crop Circles play : Penatgon, Antidote (Pl. remix), Full Mental Jackopot (pl. remix), well, basically, thats pretty much what I need to know before I die, seeing as I couldnt be there.
