Richpa Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I need gabber/hardstyle recommendations, especially to sound like this. Thank you! Quote
Veracohr Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 The extent of my gabber is the compilation Nightmares From Rotterdam. It's mostly good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0wczziCZ3I 1 Quote

Lemmiwinks Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I need gabber/hardstyle recommendations, especially to sound like this. Thank you! hmm that sounds like mainstream dutch hardcore IMO. Maybe you should check out Angerfist (if you haven't already)? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJugWh4rPrQ or a full mix if you prefer (I keep this one in my car for night driving when I feel that I can't keep my eyelids open anymore, just blast this out at full volume and it will be better than 10 cans of Red Bull ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-jtVyIwfN8 Quote
Richpa Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 I found the track from first post in his new mix. Yeah, I've been checking him for a while now, even I heard about him long time ago, but never actually gave him a chance. He's good! Quote

Veracohr Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Listening to that Angerfist, and how 'clean' (in a manner of speaking) and modern it sounds, made me finally understand something. A while ago I checked out this hardcore record at a store that I listened to just because of the label, which said something like "Hardcore should always be dirty, overcompressed, and sound like crap". Something along those lines. It was most definitely a more quick-and-dirty production sound than the polished sound of Angerfist. Quote
Richpa Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 Actually I prefer more this modern-sounding type of hardcore/gabber music, even when I was younger I enjoyed some Thunderdome compilations aswell Quote
Balance Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Recently from my home country Tymon hose been rocking it for my 'core listening. also Enzyme X is absolutely the best but old skool Rob Gee is awesome Quote
