Anoebis
The new Goasia album is almost there!! And all the samples are now online!!!!! Have a listen, and drool... only 2 more weeks!https://soundcloud.com/goasia/sets/goasia-ampibians-on-spacedockRelease Date : Sep 18, 2014Total time : 72:26Style : Melodic Goa TranceMastering : Tim Schuldt @ 4CN Studios, GermanyArtwork : Artwork by: Ivan Parić (Richpa) at Neogoa Design, Croatia (https://www.facebook.com/neogoadesign) and Goran and Dejan Mrganić at Adamantite Studios, Serbia (https://www.facebook.com/AdamantiteStudios). Cat no : SUNCD33Barcode : 5 060376 220865Format : CDCopies pressed : 700 Goasia is a versatile and widely appreciated Serbo-Croatian duo who spreads powerful vibes all around the world. Amphibians On Spacedock is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Dancing With The Blue Spirit (Kagdila) and From Other Spaces (Suntrip). With its inimitable style mixing powerful banging sequences with subtly melodic breaks and flawless production, Goasia will send you to space once again! The album starts with God, Good Morning a superb composition with a shamanic intro and explosive morning melodies all over the place. Amphibians On Spacedock is another morning tune with bouncing acidic sequences, immediately followed by The New Orient, a crazy uplifting killer full of eastern melodies. Mental Mutator is a mysterious track that gives you a little time to breathe before Dolphins Of Jupiter kicks in and radiates through your body with its avalanche of melodies! Promised Land follows up on the same note, achieving a fantastic mix of energetic and morning layers! Still standing? OK, Sundance and Orbital Saturation are there to drain your last forces, the former being more mysterious, while the later revisits the eastern style in a twirling and insanely trippy way!!! Lastly, Tetrodotoxin closes the album with a darker mental banging style. With this new album, Goasia has reached a new level, and we hope you’ll enjoy it, hoping like an amphibian on the spacedock of your fantasies! Penzoline
Will be hard to top Dancing With The Blue Spirit, hope it won't disappoint! Been waiting for this one. Otherwise I don't really like the cover(Esp compared to the other 2 albums) and I would have preferred if you chose something from Unvisited Galaxies EP rather than Sundance as it was on a CD already. I really don't see a point in releasing same tracks on many albums these days since CD releases are so few and far between anyway! : /
Anoebis
Well, artist albums are different compared to compilations...As for Sundance, it was for Kanc & Balint a MUST to release it on the album, as it is one of their best tracks. For an album 1 track which was released somewhere is not a problem, if it makes the whole better... And it does As for the cover, the artist choses what he wants of course, and he was happy with what he wanted (with lots of good feedback on fb...) Penzoline
Well no 1 track isn't a big deal. If the artist wanted it on it then there's not much you can do is there, just would have preferred material that isn't on a physical format already. It's a collector pet peeve really. I like exclusive comps.
Anoebis
Fair enough, I understand but it's the way it is... it happens more (I'm thinking about Deviant Electronics album, Nebula Meltdown etc) :-)
Richpa
Otherwise I don't really like the cover(Esp compared to the other 2 albums) This one was tricky, especially because Goasia wanted to have specific motifs on the artwork. Luckly the collaboration with guys at Adamantite Studios went great and all three sides were satisfied with the artwork. Speaking from my point of view, it was the most challenging project so far, even I had different visual ideas in my head in the beginning. The most important part is that artist idea is fulfilled regarding the visual representation of an album.
draeke
sounds really promising! I like the samples, good work Suntrip!
cyaneyes
Great sounds as always from Goasia grandmaster Longawaited and with looking good and spacy cover which totally relevant to title and common theme of cosmic music which ups to the sky! Well Done Goasia! More work like this, intense and creative, melodic and unique. UPDATED: After listening the samples I must say what Dolphins of Jupiter is just awesome. Long time dont heard something similar! Especially in newschool goatrance! Lots of layers, energy and acidic strings, oh my god, just tickle my synapses in the right way! Tetrodotoxin also definitely "my cup of tea" with that twirling and mindblowing goacid shower.
Shpongled247
Awesome! As someone who loved "From Other Spaces" more than their follow up i am keen to see where this one ends up in my list and how/if they have grown! Samples are sounding nice to the ears, still with that ethnic unmistakeable Goasia vibe that I really dig!
Jon Cocco
Samples sound good. Goa tracks are best in their entirety though, as they tell a story, develop, and often evolve throughout! There was some great tracks on his From Other Spaces album. But also some less memorable. I remember Space Travelers (the second half), and Sunrise to this day. His follow up, Dancing With The Blue Spirit seemed more homogenous and gentle; also a bit tame and lacking in super songs (to me), less memorable as a whole. I'd have to hear it again as its been a while. I remember that some of the work was beautiful. This artist has made many great tracks. His Goa style is distinct. I'm looking forward to this release. Guest antic
Bought it on psyshop.com, because turns out they offer free mp3 downloads with new CDs now - who knew? Regarding the album, I have mixed feelings - it's the same 'folk goa' their 2nd album was, which only works if the melodies are great - and not all of them are. But that's just 1st impression, so we'll see.
Anoebis
Ok, that's new for me too... Didn't know that... but in the future, if you don't care where to order, please use bandcamp or suntrip, we get only 60% income of a "normal" sale on that site.As for the music, well, it is indeed folky Goasia style for sure I can imagine some don't really like it, but for them we have Shakta coming up (and some more, I will post here tomorrow which ones )
Anoebis
Ps, in the near future Suntrip CD-orders will have mp3 free with it as well
HappyHorse
"Goasia" (besides "RA" - onces spammed a guy cause he didn't rate RA album 5/5 on discogs ) one of my favourite acts!

Padmapani
i'm not impressed by the samples up to now. it sounds a bit like more the same with "standard goasia tracks", like about half of their last album. i guess i'll have to listen to the whole thing before i can properly judge the album. onces spammed a guy cause he didn't rate RA album 5/5 on discogs that's totally justified

Having just listened to the album, I'll admit it does have the Goasia sound that we are familiar with, but I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I really enjoyed the album. Especially Dolphins at Jupiter, what a funny track.
