Järsimähäiriö
So you're dreaming about having the bling bling to purchase such high-end djing gear, when in reality you can't even afford buying records, forcing you to resort in the sheepish ways of stealing? Wake up.

Guest Kiph T. Elephant
"does anybody know if cdj-800 can play mp3s on a cd?" I doubt it. I think it only comes with a program which allows you to burn your vinyls&mp3s onto a cd (in the normal cd-audio format). Of course as I don't own it, I can't be sure, but I think they would have mentioned it somewhere.
Guest chu
Järsimähäiriö if you didnt know , you can convert wav files into mp3s which take alot less space and instead of having 100 regular cds, i can get around with just a few but thanks for the comment anyway
Guest Dr. Cheroot
1) no, they don't. 2) yes, it is worth buying (at least the cdj-100s are).
Guest djcl.ear
MP3s? for djing??? Once you amplify it, it reveals all of its crappy, plane sound in all of its splendor... Even minidisc sounds like black &white against color CD when played aside CD at either: A Nice Party sound system or A midfi system. Whether if you use portable headphones or PC or home systems then MAGIC happens: MP3 and Minidiscs will sound better than CD¡¡¡ This is because those small speakers cannot handle all the frequencies going on at a good PSY music...and they do not make much effort if some compression takes out 90% or 60% of the work out. Enjoy, but focus.
