anyone know? old school hard trance (maybe?) artist... since hiyabousu [bad spelling] ran that lost tracks page a while back i've been hooked on "sunchase" and now "polyphonic raid" is doing some magic too... hard old beats and eerie sci-fi sounds make for some good trancin'!

i just bought an old 12" by them so i'll be hearing a few more of their tracks but wuhhhh... did these guys ever cross over and make goa? and if not i wonder, why not! this stuff definatly has a nice psychedelic quality to it, especially with the breakdown in polyphonic raid [with the bass push that rolls up and down with the arpeggiatting synths doing their business in the back].. pretty good! anyhow, another act to check out if you're like me - very much in love with the old school sound from the heart of the 90s.

Genecom where releasing on Swedish Planet Rhythm Records back in the good old days. If I remember correctly the man lurking behind the name Genecom is Adam Beyer of Drumcode fame, when he still was making trance.

Maybe there was a collaborator as well, I can't recall..

You should definitely check out those very early planet rhythm records.. before 014 or so. There was a very interesting and partly mature techno-trance sound eg. in the "Vector - ordeals in sound EP" that you haven't really found anywhere else up until the last years.. Other names are Rotor-type and Ascendants..

Remember folks.. It's GOOD to dig in the crates! :)

that one was released on Loop Records right?

I just LOVE that old progressive-techno sound they had in the cross-over period..
