Scandinasia
Agreed with Richpa. The old man has turned Hi Tech for years. When dealing with Goa, does that mean that he knows about the contemporary scene ? Does he listen to Suntrip, Cronomi, etc. ? I'm really curious about it. Can we have a link please ? Shpongled247
^^ I don't think he does, and also, I think he probably just calls all psytrance Goa anyways... If i ever have chance to meet him I will find out haha. Maybe if he plays around goa this season. That would mean enduring one of his sets though... which tbh his style for the last maybe ten years is not really up my alley!
filthysock
^^ I don't think he does, and also, I think he probably just calls all psytrance Goa anyways... Yeah, that might very well be... I didn't get the impression he was necessarily focusing on pure Goa... but everything derived from Goa... I guess, seeing as how he praised how it keeps evolving he was in fact talking about Psy and High-Tech and all that stuff. Which brings us back to square one on the whole point, lol. Oh well... Rotwang
Ummm that's really interesting, since he's promoting hi-tech music for a long time and it honestly doesn't have anything with Goa trance. Bear in mind that the usage of the term "Goa trance" to mean a paricular subgenre of psytrance is by no means universal - many use it as a synonym for psytrance as a whole. And hi-tech certainly does have something to do with Goa trance, since it evolved from darkpsy which evolved from early psytrance which evolved from Goa trance.
