Guest Dr. Gonzo Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 suppose a new album came out, style: old etnica & old pleiadians, exactely the same quality (or higher), the same or a higher amount of madness, approximately the same sound ... but other kind of madness, other kind of melodies, back then, that album would have been a BOMB , if that came out now, would you buy it ? i mean, is there still place for talented madness with the old skool sound in this world?? Guest berserk Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 sure I would. I'm tired of this repetitive full on played all over the world. I want to escape somewhere where goa is still being played. Quote
Guest Otto Matta Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 I'd prefer old Pleiadians to pre-Equator Etnica, but yeah, definitely. Quote
Lemmiwinks Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 of course man, that's why we're here!!! I can't imagine anyone saying "this has too many melodies" or "this climax is too strong"... SMI²LE Quote
Guest Kristian Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 Yes agree, would buy it immediately (my latest bought album was Ethereal Anima Mundi - oldschool kicks ass (infact I got it from the label manager) Funny, I just asked myself the same question the other day when I was thinking of restarting my "oldschool" tranceproject Halosian. I've noticed that there's still a need for the oldtrance (goa) sound here in Sweden lately. Soon there will be an oldschoolparty in Alingsås, and the 31st of January Subcouds will be revived for an evening for another party (www.spaceport.nu). Your question and everything else that shows a demand for this type of music has made me realize that I have to continue and hopefully release some of it Quote
Filteria Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 soon...soon...soon.... Dr. Gonzo, i am sending it soon to a label Quote
Guest Quazzi Posted January 15, 2004 Posted January 15, 2004 Does the soft hairn of my arms become punkies? Of course i would buy it!! Quote
Guest Kristian Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 Filteria: Just curious, and what is your artistname of which you're about to release something under (Filteria?) and which label? Quote
Filteria Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 I haven't sent anything yet to a label....i will do that soon...It will be under the name of Filteria... Quote
Guest Kristian Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 You have any website or is there anywhere else I could hear some of your music? Quote
Guest ChoBo Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 I would buy all the releases of The Infinity Project, old skool kick ass psy Quote
Lemmiwinks Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 little off-topic question to ChoBo: what country is ".bn" supposed to stand for?? SMI²LE Quote
Järsimähäiriö Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 "Supposed" to stand for? Brunei, of course. Quote
seraph Posted January 19, 2004 Posted January 19, 2004 Of Course I'd get it...Old school will never die, no matter when it is produced and how ! BTW, Pleiadians - Inner Space was good, but nothing spectacular, it had the same full on beat as there is nowadays, and it still lacked some more melodies...It wasn't bad but it surely wasn't a classic. I hope EXPLORER is going to be slightly more diverse than that... Quote
abasio Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 suppose a new album came out, style: old etnica & old pleiadians, exactely the same quality (or higher), the same or a higher amount of madness, approximately the same sound ... but other kind of madness, other kind of melodies, back then, that album would have been a BOMB , if that came out now, would you buy it ? i mean, is there still place for talented madness with the old skool sound in this world?? 59309[/snapback] Hell yeah. Imagine if the New Pleiadians album was something like that. I'd buy it in a second. Quote
