psy people are VERY close-minded, and i can imagine they were shocked by the subtlety of BPE. it's a very artistic album, in that the space between the beats is quite important. they really created a whole new vibe with that album that was unlike the overtly *PSY* CM sound. i think they started to outgrow psytrance with BPE, which never bothered me. i just consider them trance now, and i rank them right alongside Oliver Lieb and Simon Posford.

 

i disliked CV at first, but soon came to realize that it's a great listen. i don't like "Chaplin" or "Selecta", but everything else is cool. the last 3 tracks on the trance side are *awesome*, but like BPE they gradually build. my main complaint with the trance side is that the kickdrums aren't strong on a lot of the tracks, and it doesn't sound good in the mix.

i think when the time comes poeple are minding other things like - how an artist looks, the way he is on live show, or where he makes a living from (clips) - Than minding their music ... at that moment personal ego is laying in the way of enjoying LIFE! ...
