Penzoline
I'm actually curious what would you guys consider psychedelic tracks that aren't inherently linked to any form of psychedelic genre? Or just trance-inducing, for you. I encounter these occasionally, I'll start off with the latest one.

Richpa
Not sure is this on-topic, but I'll throw this one anyway:After 11th minute it kicks off properly. I had some of the best experiences on this track, even it's not made as something psychedelic, I consider it to be highly psychedelic.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhkpCjmXHTUOhh, and lyrics are sweet too..It’s been a long night... away from it all.The grabbing authority of my peers...The rusty cage that never seems to open...When can I escape? When can I swim to the moon?I’ve heard this expression my entire life... never realized how peaceful a statement it is.I’ve heard this expression my entire life... never realized how peaceful a statement it is.All alone on the worlds waters... here I am.The sun’s slowly drifting past the edge of the world...All alone on the worlds waters... here I am.The sun’s slowly drifting past the edge of the world...I’m the loneliest boat on this entire body of water.Rest will give my awakening purpose... this is why I have come here in the first place.A peace I have never felt... a life I did not want to live.I will awake through sleep...The drifting drifter... look into the picture...No more panic, no more regret. No more hoping for a new mess.Slide into the water.Become one with the sea.Life seems so much smaller.Swim to the moon.I awake with a cool breeze blowing through my dirty hair.Rested, stable... a first.A caffeine junkie’s longest wish: peace and quiet...No wake ups, no expectations...A strange feeling... suddenly drifting...No wake ups, no expectations...A strange feeling... suddenly drifting...This “As Seen on TV” anchor is just another lie, I guess... hoping for something not there.Filling a void that I can’t quite put my finger on.Filling a void. This loneliness I always seek.I’m in the middle of black water. No sign of human life in any direction...The most peaceful event of my life seems to have typically turned into a struggle.I’m in the middle of black water... no sign of human life.Panic takes over my body.Panic takes over my body, over my body.I have indeed floated due to a non-reversible decision to flee.Just for a day I told myself... my survival skills were lost years ago. Here I am: no food, no clean water, and this extremely embarrassing attempt at a “get away outfit”.This is an inevitable death, inevitable death.Slide into the water.Become one with the sea.Life seems so much smaller.Swim to the moon.Look into the picture...Look into the picture...Look into the picture...Look into the picture...This is what I lived to be.This very moment is the first time in my life that I’ve felt pure joy.Slide into the water.Become one with the sea.Life seems so much smaller.Swim to the moon.Slide into the water.Become one with the sea.Life seems so much smaller.Swim to the moon.Slide into the water.Become one with the sea.Life seems so much smaller.Swim to the moon. Scandinasia
My first trance experience, the swiss violonist Paul Giger : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvdZ_xPvhmo This guy made me enter the world of music, and even led me to Goa. Some melodic patterns and the rhythmic tone has a lot to do with actual Goa trance. There even are psychedelic, pagan and oriental elements in his music. kriz aka krize
Black metal and truly psychedelic: Burzum always makes these deep atmospheres, building and growing ... One of his later excellent works:
Richpa
Nice one, however, I still think Filosofem to be class on it's own when it comes to Varg's music.http://youtu.be/e-ZVkESecXk?t=7m34s
johnb820
Salsa is hugely trance-inducing for me. If only salsa would do more interesting things with effects like a certain someone I mention a lot around here.
Thomas_A
Phillip Glass - Prophecies This is really psychodelic, very deep and lofty (also look at "Phillip Glass - Koyaanisqatsi")
Anu Katariina
Death Hawks, psychedelic rock! I was on their gig with GoaTree last November, what a live band! Here's some pics I took and their best track imo that also has an awefuckingsome video!
johnb820
The soundtracks to the Myst series of adventure/puzzle games. They are such an interesting blend between strange, eery electronic pads, acoustic percussion, and light effects.
Anu Katariina
@Johnb820 I liked those Btw, off topic, since this forum is so ancient and doesn't allow to post pics from a computer directly I am having probs to plant pics. Now my Death Hawks gig pics don't show :-(
abasio
I find a lot of ambient like this https://www.discogs.com/Winterhouse-Sanctuary/release/2173254to be very psychedelic journey music.
