Guest perro andaluz
Hello trancers!! I'm desperately looking for good psychedelic dub albums much in the vein of Vibrasphere's "Abra" track, you know, the opener of their great "Echo" album. I just can't get enough of this track and need more, please help!!
khogg
There is another track like that on their second album (can't remember the name). What about Hallucinogen in Dub or Ott's album? You probably have those already though. Maybe you would like the Ooze album. You can hear samples on the online shops. The label Planet Dog released all kinds of stuff you might like (not all dub, but some of it is). Keep your eye out for tracks by artists like Banco De Gaia (older stuff, and again not all dub, but some tracks are), Children of the Bong, and others. Guest Daan
Some dubby music that trips me out is V.A. - Talisman (Interchill) V.A. - Youth in Dub - Orchestra Mystique (Liquid Sound Design) The Kumba Mela Experiment - East of the River Ganges album on Liquid Sound Design has some pretty dubby tracks on it. As has the Elucidations compilation on the same label. Makes me feel like smoking... Jah man! The only music is roots music!
Guest daan
I also heard there's a "dub technician" form Ghotenburg.se calling himself Stress Assassin, releasing on Spiral Trax. He also collects 70's dub vinyl, but produces modern dub.
Guest Dr. Krelm
I have heard really good things about the album from an artist named Bluetech. Here is a link to a review on isratrance: Blutech- Prima Materia (Waveform, Sep. 2003) http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/...c/28952/forum/

Guest perro andaluz
Thanx guys!! I'll let you know what I got after doing my dubby research...
Guest brent
I wholeheartedly agree- almost everything by Liquid sound designs (go to dragonfly record label and theres a link in there- theyr'e sorta sister labels) is incredible dub. i just got youth in dub, and its ok, but not as great as I thought it would be. fr. L.S.D.-- Dr. Alex patersons voyage into paradise is awesome. mana medicine, east of the river ganges, elucidations.. butterfly dawn, all those are great. the only downside is most of those are "one offs" (or at least i ahven't searched long and hard) but it seems as though the artists that are in those comps don't have lots of albums out. 9zen lemonade and a few others, do, but i dunno that their overall sound is as dubby as whats on these comps...) you might also try suns of arqa. note, though, that they can get a bit too.. "world beat" (after all it is an artist collective based in africa). what I recommend (what I've done) is get all the REMIXED sons of arqa-- technomor (remix v. 4), total eclipse of the suns (rmx #1), and rmx vols' 2 and 3. all of those are dubbish, but not just outright "wolrd beat"- there's nice chilled electronica in it . my all time favorite, though, is dub trees- nature never did betray the heart that loved her. that CD is simply amazing dub. anyway, hope it helps and I'd like to hear what all you come up w/as well, as i'm always lookin' for more good dub. peace out
Guest daan
"grey area - penumbra" (plusquam) is nice album and a great track. "v.a. - chillosophy 3" on digital structures has a very nice vibrasphere track on it. great compilation as a whole. there's a compilation coming on LSD, that has LSD artists and vibrasphere (!) remixing LSD tracks: V.A. - Wider Horizons (Liquid Sound Design): 1. Tripswitch / Silver (Ott Remix) 2. Drum Druids / Last Summer Dub (Abakus Remix) 3. Nada / Manakhana (Youth Remix) 4. United States Of Dub / Tiger Moon (Vatos Locos Remix) 5. The Kumba Mela Experiment / Elephant Trax (Vibrasphere Remix) 6. Ott / Escape From Tulse Hell (Tripswitch Remix) 7. Nada / Earthgarden (Abakus Remix) read more: http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display...ase.asp?id=3859 :-)
Guest perro andaluz
Wow! This looks very promising. Vibrasphere and Vatos Locos in dub, can't wait!
Guest zer0-mantra
I'd suggest you check out the master of instrumental dub, Twilight Circus Dub Sound System, too! Their albums aren't that easy to find, but Amazon.de have "Other World of Dub", their best album IMO, at least they had it when I bought from it there last summer. Only a shame that it's so damn short!
