Padmapani Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 perfectly clear sky here, but to be honest i found the last partial eclipse more spectacular when the sun fromed a nice crescent visible with the naked eye right after sunrise. that was a special scene. as it was just one hour from noon now (10:42 here), you couldn't see anything (except the decreased daylight) without special glasses. A map I saw gave the duration at about 30 seconds at that edge, and I'm maybe 50 miles from a 2 minute duration. It's overcast here anyway. Not unlike Rotwang's.
