you are a true optimist. we'll have the new astral projection album, hallucinogen 3 as well as a new goa trance album by shakta before ishkur releases an updated version of the edm guide. 

 

i was tempted to include the new dimension 5 album that was promised a few years ago, but i haven't quite given up hope yet for that one.

Here is the list of changes that have been made:

 

- Addition of multiple pages on certains sub-styles that needs to be explained further in the FAQ section

- Some small changes to various sub-styles definitions

Oh sorry just a mistake. "Trance Goa" is the french way to say "Goa Trance". It's corrected. You can redownload the PDF.

I don't agree with the dark/luminous argument of forest psytrance. It can be very luminous like Imaginary Sight, old Hux Flux or my last album for instance.

Why on Earth do you have Ozric Tentacles in the Protogoa section? Yes, they influenced some artists but are psychedelic/space rock down to the core.
The Monkey Puzzle album doesn't belong in the Natural Trance section, it's more like a downtempo/rock hybrid (no traces of "trance" in any way).
Also, Ethereal - Anima Mundi belongs to the New School section, not Old School.

And of course all this nitpicking is us wanting to make this guide even better :)

Same with the Kataphasis album. No trance in there.
