Tatsu Posted January 24, 2002 Share Posted January 24, 2002 i'm so happy at the moment. i went to my local second hand shop vor vinyls and tapes and noticed that they now also have psytrance cds. at the moment they have about 10 albums and also very old stuff like a double album by pof and some artists i never heard of. anyway, i got reborn compilation for a third of the normal price and i'm sooooo happy!! do you have a second hand shop too where you can buy cds? Tatsu Posted January 24, 2002 Share Posted January 24, 2002 they have a section with goa vinyls but i have only see one single record from flying rhino. the rest is normal trance. but the cd selection contains maybe about 15 albums. from new stuff like alien project to old stuff from pof label. i hope a lot of people will sell their cds there soon... :-) they have also all other genres on vinyl and cd and all stuff very cheap because its second hand. It's called Gaia Media and is between trämlistation lyss and spalentor. They have around 80 compils and albums of the "most known" goa artist like infected, astral, eu, green nuns ..and many more. BUT they are quite expensive. They start from 33 swiss francs for albums up to 45/50.- for double CD compils. Ah yeah they sell some other psychedlic stuff there as well. plus you may find very few goa CD in the Hanftempel (near Dreirosebridge) I for myself do order ALL of my psytrance online. You can try it there psyfi, but as Mesk told, the records are very expensive there. You can also try the record shop right near to the Eschenmoser ( don't know, I think it's named Panthera, sell mainly house/techno/trance stuff but they also have some progressive goa records). Guest dam10n Posted January 25, 2002 Share Posted January 25, 2002 I used to go to the music exchange type shops around london and got some way cool bargains. problem is though that the store owners hardly know how to classify stuff... a couple of weeks ago I was going through the house section in a very damp 2nd hand store in Bath in the UK and found MWNN's first album for £4 and Blue Room outside the reactor for £5 - both on vinyl.... for online stuff it's worth seeing who out of psyshop, chaos unlimited, saiko, etc. can deliver to you cheapest... savings to be had.. .also amazon carry more than you'd think! I was awake when I first found it here in sweden at a recordfair a couple of years ago.
