the goa constrictor Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Do you have to LOVE them all or simply Not Dislike any? I definitely have some which I don't dislike any, but some tracks I would say are not LOVE worthy... =) Quote
abasio Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Sticking to the original topic and not just trying to list my favourite artists, I'd have to say there's only two: Jikkenteki, but his output was short & very very to my taste. Gus Till. Everything he was involved with was an utter delight for me. Slinky Wizard, Bus, Zen Lemonade are all tremendous and then the releases under his own name, Dub Shadows, Electric Oceans, Catalpa and more all in different styles, all brilliant. Gus has to win it for me, not just for the amount of lovable material but the variety too 1 Quote
MrAnarchy Posted May 5, 2016 Author Posted May 5, 2016 I will definitely have to check out Jikkenteki. Gus is one of the slinky guys right? They made a few tracks to my knowledge but they are all legendary. Shitty Stick... I love everything about that track. Wish there was more like it Quote
abasio Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Have you heard much of Flying Rhino Records? Check out Gus Till: Best of the Rhino years for some more of his excellent stuff. Edit: links https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/50865-gus-till-best-of-the-rhino-years-vol-1/ https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/50866-gus-till-best-of-the-rhino-years-vol-2/ 1 Quote
MrAnarchy Posted May 5, 2016 Author Posted May 5, 2016 Not all of them but most of the famous comps and albums the released. I'll check those out Quote
abasio Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Boyd in the void and air born are good for Slinky-esque material. 1 Quote
Aspartic Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 If I have to pick one name it is: Artifact303 His sound makes my brain melt and he touches all the right buttons. His style is my style. Other artists whose tracks I almost always adore: E-Mantra Filteria Antares (where the hell are you bro?) ;-) Nova Fractal 1 Quote
Blair Thaumic Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 I love everything O*Men made. Suomi founding fathers and criminally underappreciated. Forget that Aquarius Leap happened and Xenomorph is up there too. 1 Quote
XoArK Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I love everything O*Men made. Suomi founding fathers and criminally underappreciated. Forget that Aquarius Leap happened and Xenomorph is up there too. You mean O*men with that one track on VA - Made On Earth? Quote
the goa constrictor Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 O*Men have a great 12" on Nephilim and a somewhat unreleased full album as well 2 Quote
psylophyta Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Maybe not 100%, but probably as close as it can get: MWNN & X-Dream Quote
awanteelpsyvieja Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Do people just list their favourite artists? I thought this thread was about artists you love every single track by them. wizzy noise. they are one of the few of which i enjoyed every fucking track i listened to. Quote
HappyHorse Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Altho' Ive gotta ask, how are you not annoyed by "Chi A.D.-Virtual Spirit"? That album makes rage cause of its vocals. Healing magic in particular This is the best and most complete Goa album ever made Every time I fall in love again with this one. We are married now.... Quote
BASS-O-MATIC Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Crossing Mind Etnica Simon Posford Astral Projection Filteria Artifact 303 Quote
psychedelic chipmunk Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 A hundred percent? Ugh that's tough. If we allow ourselves to forget about "The Scanner" [i'm trying to, I promise] then KoxBox. Others include: Man with no name, Message from God, X-Dream, Shakta, Transwave, Delerium, Artha, Jikkenteki I wanna say Hallucinogen, too, but I really only like Twisted [and a bit of Lone deranger] and that hardly counts as 100% :< If someone put a gun to my head and asked that, those figures would pop into mind. PS! I wish to avoid any nonsense about who is better and ..blah blah blah, the reason I mentioned KoxBox separately is because KoxBox is great /thread Quote
