Androcell - Entheomythic

Smooth as butter all the way through, perfectly gloomy mix and Kevin Metcalfe's mastering is fantastic as usually :)

For its time The Nommos-Primal Meltdown. Although it has been surpassed back in 2006 was audio orgasm.

Today they're too many too count. Caveman-Event Horizon is a good candidate.

I'm going to be a grumpy old schooler and say Spectral - Diffuse. Around 2000-2001 is where psy production really hit its peak for me (speaking only about sound quality, and not music)

For runner ups, Chi-AD - Anno Domini and Kox Box - Dragon Tales.

Beast -> Spawn

(and I'm sure there are hundreds in this category but this one in particular we used during sound check of many parties)

I don't understand the question, really. For a genre like psytrance where sound design is such an important element, how does one draw the lines between composition and production and mixing? I could give some names but it would probably just end up looking like a list of my favourite tracks.

I dont mean it should sound like amen, but if you just listen to the sounds not the music.
