They have many release which are absolutely stunning.

 

So which is your most favourite and least favourite release by them.?

 

And as its Ultimae, we have to talk about the pretty digipack. Which is your favourite artwork?

 

 

My favourite "as of now" Asura - Life^2.

(It keeps changing very fast!!)

Least favourite - Not sure. Have to own/listen to a few more albums & decide.

 

Favourite artwork - Solar Fields #01

Solar Fields-Movements & Altered-Second Movements and Hybrid Leisureland-Scroll Side. But the truth is that everything from Solar Fields and Asura is top notch.

 

Least favourite? I guess some of its recent compilations are pretty meh. I also don't like Random Friday because I don't like progressive. EarthShine had some preety cool tracks.

 

As for artwork you can't beat jellyfishes.

I think you are right, passages was OK.

Good thing you pointed at Scroll Side album. I wonder why it's not "famous" , it also has the lowest ratings of all Ultimae albums.

I think because it's on the ambient side than the downtempo/idm style of most Ultimae. Either way it's amazing.

I collected all the albums up to 2007 but then stopped listening to the label as I thought the quality of the early stuff was top-notch but was starting to decrease a little. What are the best few albums that I've missed since then?

Cell - Hanging Masses

Solar Fields - Movements , Altered Movements, Until We Meet the sky

Sync24 - Comfortable Void

Circular - Moon Pool

I'd agree with the above for sure but also

 

Connect.Ohm - 9980 is stunning

Asura - Radio Universe is for me his best album

Miktek - Elsewhere is such a trip

 

Also Oxycanta III really grew on me as so many Ultimae albums do.
