Guest The Lost Buddha
Congrats for your production , good to find more people producing Goa. fruity loops i guess. ;p what i must say is that very good , i love your melodic lines and the acid lines aswell , it´s really hipnotical i like a lot! It´s GOOD to find GOOD goa at these day´s and specially NEW. You could tweak better this song and implement pads on it to become more hipnotical. But for the rest ... ... it´s exellent ! Cheers for your production , ill been watching foward on your production .

Guest Jikkenteki
Hopefully the original poster won't mind if I offer one of my "modern" goa tracks to the offerings for fans of the old school sounds http://www.par-2.com/choons/jikkenteki_-_m..._madness_nk.mp3 Downloading Utsidare's track as we speak... (the joys of dial up)
Guest The Lost Buddha
Hi Jikkenteki , ive listened to your song and it´s not old skool goa , is some sort of psytrance like Psyside , it´s cool but i dont appreciate it so much. x ( For the real fans of old skool goa , download the song which this post is talking about , it´s really worth the download. =)
Guest Jikkenteki
Lost Buddha, Not sure if you stuck with the track through the end but I admit the beginning is a bit modern. However the last half is pretty blatant mixture of old school melody with newer production (most modern psy fans always comment on how the last half ruins the song cuz its so old school lol). But opinions are opinions so its cool either ways. Its just surprising since you are the first person to ever say that it doesn't sound old school. Guest Jikkenteki
Utsidare, Nice work overall. The acidy lines are good and its got the nice old school vibe overall. The bulk of the sounds are very good for the old goa vibe. Any recommendations I might have are fairly minor. The main thing I noticed over repeated listenings was that I kept waiting for some sort of progression in the drum side of things. Maybe adding some minor conga bits or fills or something here and there? I like what is there, but I thinking "ok. kick, hats, crash once in awhile.. there might be a snare in there, but its mixed too low to tell really... ok its a good base, lets go to the next level." The earlier part of the track might benefit from a minor pad or something because there are a couple times I thought the sound was a bit unnaturally empty (later half is no problem though). Lastly maybe try playing with the levels or compressing the sample break, because whenever it comes on, I find myself straining to hear it. Outside of those small things, good job. Although I feel I should point that that Psyburbia already released a track by the name "Fossil Fools" on Matsuri back in 99.

Guest Dr. Cheroot
Awesome track, Utsidare. One problem though... it's TOO SHORT !! Since the end of the track is almost like a breakdown, i would throw in a peaking melody, bring in the bassline again and go a for another couple minutes. Great job. Thx. Guest The Lost Buddha
Utsidare , 7-8 min track time is enough
Guest Dr. Cheroot
That's about right, Lost Buddha. My download was about 5.5 minutes, so another couple minutes would do just perfect. Unless you meant that the track was already 7-8 minutes and that was enough; in that case i might missed part of it. I wonder when a label will have the balls to release a completely old school compilation with tracks like these. I think we are ready for a revival.
