However us goa guys and gals, we represent the finest life has to offer, and also the product of resilient spirits that create excellence regardless of start. With that.. I know we all will not agree. I know we will even disagree, but in the end I choose goa over all opinions.. Just like everyone else here and ill keep that in mind during the entire fun filled discussion. So far.. I personally think he is one of the biggest sociopaths I've ever seen. I'm sorry if you are a trump supporter.. But he inherited a ton of money. If he did nothing but invest his inheritance, with all factors considering, he would be worth more than he is now. I have yet to see him have the fighting spirit that comes from being poor.. Or working hard to earn. I get the feeling it was all handed to him and his sociopathic nature was a product of those who he was surrounded by. Learned behaviors from a shrewd silver spoon. I guess the bright side of that is he could be molded by the Republican party as he is not a natural sociopath but a product of a sociopathic environment. I still dont understand why he thinks extortion via NATO is a good idea. Which brings you to the other side.. Hillary Clinton. The democrats seem like they really want to help people and Hillary looks like she has some redeeming qualities but people just can't get enough of trump. The reality tv star that is trump never gets old for people.. Sometimes I wonder if he has truly tricked us What's everyone's thoughts on it? He is extremely popular with a certain type of voter but, and it's a big but, he's too unpopular with almost all Democrat voters and I think the majority of undecided voters. He's even polarizing opinion among republicans so what chance will he have against Clinton in the actual election? She'll take all the democrat states, the majority of swing states and probably a few solid Republican states too. She'll be popular with minority ethic groups and women before all your liberals and people who think Trump is a dick head. I think Clinton is scarier though as her bad points are more hidden while trump just doesn't give a shit. He's the type to say "I don't want Muslims in this country" which while idiotic and racist and totally unamerican is honest. I feel Clinton is more the type to say "Muslims are our friends" while sneakily passing a law that discriminates them. Trump won't win, but does the world really want Hillary in his place? Richpa Posted June 11, 2016 Share Posted June 11, 2016 I'm not that much familiar with US politics, but for me personally Bernie was probably the best choice for american people and he had some interesting ideas, now when it's obvious Hilary will be democratic nominee, it's fun to see how suddenly the democratic party admires Sanders and his ideas (probably expecting endorsement for Hilary). On the other side Trump had an easy job, especially when you take a look at all republican candidates. He might seem loud, populist and offensive, but I would rather vote for him instead of Hillary. It feels like there are two different political garnitures in the shadows who are influencing each candidate and it doesn't smell good at all. It's hard to say, but if Trump wins I hope he will stay true when he said that America needs to focus on it's own backyard and economy instead of fighting wars and act like world policeman. Richpa Posted June 11, 2016 Share Posted June 11, 2016 Well I think most of americans are ignorant about their countries foreign policy, but many young people are aware how things and propaganda works and many of them in US share your/ours opinion regarding the military intervention, supporting the 'moderate' islamists, taking down the legal presidents and goverments through some democratic revolutions, arming petromonarchies (where there is no actual 'democracy'), expanding military presence in Europe through NATO, etc. De-dollarization is already happening, other global players and powers are rising rapidly, Syria itself was a red line and things are rapidly shifting into cold war situation where powers such as Russia or China are starting to act and not to observe like they used to when western-coallition bombed and invaded Iraq and Lybia. Also, the rise of Internet and flow of the informations itself helped to take another perspective on certain things and to make your own conclusion. So, don't judge people because they don't see things in clear way, we all vote and elect politicians who act in some strange ways and make horrible decisions for the sake of profit. My best friend went to the US (L.A.) for half a year and told me how miserable, stupid and pathetic most people are. The best thing that happened there (or everywhere) was the anti-culture movement back in the days but they killed it along with who knows how many Koreans and Vietnamese in pointless wars. That nation and its people are a depiction of everything I hate in a human being. Of course its not just the US, but they are definitely the most rotten. I know my perception is skewed because 99% of the Americans met have been those who left America, at least for a shirt time but at least half those that I've met have been great people. For me, the American character trait is not stupidity or even ignorance as a lot of them are neither ignorant nor stupid. No more than any other nation anyway. No, Americans are confident. Kids are raised to believe they can do anything amd often have no real sense of what they actually can do. This is why if you take a video camera and ask stupid people easy questions like "where is China on this map?" They confidently point to Mexico and say it's right there (and you know it probably took a lot if takes to get that answer) because they have a sense that they might be wrong. Most countries' idiot kind of know they're dumb and just wouldn't answer or would say "I don't know" so you don't quite get the same image from TV about how dumb we are. But we are, every nation on this earth has a load of stupid people. BTW I know I just generalised the entire nation as being confident but I know that's not true, I'm sure America has lots of underconfident people too, they just don't make it to exported TV. Its a fine line of keeping a protest peaceful and using force. I'm glad I dont work in that field because I want nothing to do with it. I don't want to protest and watch a riot erupt..
