Ormion Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Inspired by this thread it's time to name your one and only favourite AP track. No buts or ifs or boths or maybes the one and only. Mine is People Can Fly. Quite possibly the best Goa track ever written. Quote
MrAnarchy Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Let There Be Light is my hands down favorite 1 Quote
Oopie Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Nice one Ormion, nice one. Almost fell into that trap... Quote
SixZeroFou4 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Track 4 of the upcoming album. GR8 B8 M8. R8 8/8 Quote
GapTheMind Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Not enough love for Mahadeva in this thread. Quote
recursion loop Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Used to be People Can Fly but finally I got tired of it (no wonder after 100500 listens), now Sticks and Stones Quote
abasio Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Used to be People Can Fly but finally I got tired of it (no wonder after 100500 listens), now Sticks and Stones 100500 listens of a ten minute track would take two full years. No wonder you don't like it anymore. 2 Quote
Kitrinos Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Yep, for me also 'Let There Be Light' is the best I've listened from them. Quote
trancedigital Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Mahadeva, no doubt. It was the first AP track I heard on MP3.com in the days of dial up internet. Quote
Proxeeus Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Aurora Borealis, first goa track I ever heard at the time. Shamanix 2 Quote
Manuser Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 It changed a lot in the past, first fav was Mahadeva, then Liquid sun, then Trance Dance... Anyway when all is said and done I would probably pick No one ever dreams, I think this track is close to perfection. But it is really not easy task to choose only one. Quote
Anu Katariina Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I hadn't ever listened to any AP track before reading this thread right now, believe or not, but I have listened to goa for only 1 1/3 years, how would I have had time to do everything. Honestly I don't understand what is the fuss about, sounds okay, not special. Ok, ok, they are pioneers, respect for that. 1 Quote

Nah, actually it seems that many people on Psynews aren't huge fans of AP. Including me. That said, my favourite track by them is Flying Into a Star. It's their most twisted MFG-like track, without too many sickening melodies Quote
