Guest AgentPsy Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 A couple of friends of mine, and some of the users of the go.trance forum i manage , would like to read the article of this site named "What is Goa?" in Italian, 'cause they cant understand english enough . I can make the translation by myself, but i need the authorization of the article writer/owner before i can publish it on the public forum. So, since i couldnt find his/theirs email address in the article page, i'm asking here : can i do it? Or, could someone give me the mail address of the right person to ask to? Peace! Quote
Guest Honguito Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Obviously Anoebis is one of the guys who wrote the article. E-mail him! Anoebis@goatrance.com Mars - one of the masterminds behind this site could also be an idea to ask mars@planet-d.net Quote
Lemmiwinks Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 "Can i translate the "What is Goa?" article?" Of course you can, provided you pay the translation rights fee which amouts to around 2.500 USD. Send me a check and we'll talk SMI²LE just kidding Quote
Guest perro andaluz Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 It's nice that you ask for permission. I've seen this great article translated into other languages without even giving credit to Psynews Quote
Guest AgentPsy Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 Thanks a lot guys. Oh...about the 2500$ check... np! i'll send u the money "asap" , but only if u return me a payment receipt printed on a LSD-filled paper of 2 square feet LOL :-) Quote
Guest FIP Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 A great part of the article "What is Goa ?" published on psynews has itself been taken from the booklet of "Return to the source : deep trance and ritual beats". Don't know if the author asked permission at the time. Nice of you to ask anyway. Quote
mars Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 For you people to know, i gave my agreement to Agent Psy Quote
Guest DarkJiggly Posted March 20, 2004 Posted March 20, 2004 I have already transated it in Italian, for my personal pleasure (and to make my friends less ignorant about PsyTrance); obviously isn't a professional translation...e-mail me if you want the .txt file! P.L.U.R. Quote
