Starkraver Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I have a good enough collection of matt's work under different monikers ISHQ, Yunomi , Onirojenik etc etc I think his best album is this collaboration with Lee Norris under Ishqamatics named "Spacebound" Many might say, Ishq - orchid but lately I find it boring. :/ Which is your favourite? Microdelic Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I also like the Ishqmatics project, the "Earthbound" is my favorite! Quote
Starkraver Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 I also like the Ishqmatics project, the "Earthbound" is my favorite! Nice album. Do you have the Tin box cd? How many versions are there? 2? A square box & a round box? Quote
Microdelic Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I wish to have it on a CD, I think there is only one vesrion with a tin box ... regarding to Discogs. I find Ishq projects loveley only when all the CD's are sold Do you know any similar tracks to his Skyblue track? It's a quite uptempo to his regular ambient style. Quote
Starkraver Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 Apparently there are 2 tin editions. 1 regular for sale & one version provided by label to artists. He did release IDM'ish albums last year. Let me check. Paul or Mergi should be able to answer your question. They both are very familiar with his work and also their memory power is better than mine Quote
Starkraver Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 I think this is what you are looking for : Omni Vu Deity - Nganga https://virtual1.bandcamp.com/track/nganga A bit on the gloomy side though. Quote
Mergi Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 My memory power is quite crap when it comes to my collection, especially my CDs. But I remember really liking the Futurology - Martian Chronicles CD and Ishq - Flowering Mountian Earth CD. All of the CDs are really good though. Yeah, starkraver is right about Omni Vu Deity as it is being a bit more beat oriented like his first album Orchid. Nganga is lending a lot of progressive rock elements too, remember playing it in one of my ambient sets lovely track that. Quote
