Penzoline
I want to hear someone absolutely blur the lines of old school and new school goa. Any recommendations?

Penzoline
I guess I should have been more clear that I'm looking for a DJ mix! But you're totally right about the track. Shame about Red Gravity leaving the scene.

HappyHorse
Self promo, here we go But you asked for it - haha!!! I rarely record dj sets, as I prefer that music is played spontaneously (at parties) where ideas pup up in my mind and the (musical flow) is 100% pure and organic, cause it depends the energy on the dance floor at that specific moment.Recording is planning it a bit too much... BUT: I have just uploaded one just for you I knew I had forgotten about a mix I did at a party once, just to prove newer goa can be as good as older goa. In my opinion is this one a perfect blend between old and newer goatrance (included some unrl old tracks and some unrl Cronomi materials). Enjoy: https://soundcloud.com/dj_inada/dj-inada-cronomi-rec-fuck-you-be-fluffy PS it is recorded at a somewhat lower volume to keep the organicness of the music, so it doens't sound to sharp overall. the goa constrictor
I tried balancing a mix of old classics with more new and modern tracks through my Happy 20th(ish) Anniversary series of mixes. The fill 6hr04min long version can be streamed from MixCloud here: https://www.mixcloud.com/goaconstrictor/happy-20thish-anniversary-goa-trance-604-mix/ You may also stream the 04 individual mixes on MixCloud (or download any of them from my server) Not sure if that's what you're looking for though. The Spring and Summer mixes are my two favorites of the four seasons. I think they came together the most cohesively and smoothly... https://www.mixcloud.com/goaconstrictor/happy-20thish-anniversary-goa-trance-spring/ https://www.mixcloud.com/goaconstrictor/happy-20thish-anniversary-goa-trance-summer/
Richpa
If you're looking for great taste and storytelling, Stevo shouldn't be missed. I've seen him more than 10 times and he never dissapointed. I still have somewhere at my drive full WAV of this show that we organized, pity it's not available on SoundCloud anymore.Twinpa also has some nice mixes, check if you haven't already. Trolsk
Hi there Penzoline! I've downloaded tons of mixes in hunt of that mix of old and new goa magic, so here's my opinion. My absolute favorite is Dargoa. His mixes are nothing less than amazing. His track selection leans more towards the new school, but the vibe is high energy old school. He is handsdown the best. His mixes are often only named the date they were recorded. The mixes released 2010-2011 are amazing. My favorite is 2011-06-06. GhostOnAcid is also really good. The mix he recommended above is great, but my favorite of his mixes is Smiley Faces of the Big Bang. The DJ Stevo mix called Goa Trance live Goapocalypse recommended above is another highlight. If you find more excellent mixes, please post here!
Paul Eye
Well, I don't know about the "perfectly" part, but all my Soundcloud goa mixes are a blend of old and new, except for the Kosmos ones (they're downtempo goa anyway), and the DI.fm one is a mishmash of goa and fullon
