As we're getting slowly in seventh year of our existence in Goa trance realms, thanks to you dear people, we achieved another milestone with 750k downloads at Ektoplazm and Bandcamp. That means a lot to all of us and to all artists who released their music with us. Just was checking but ended up reading all the stuff posted in 2010; how Neogoa started as a radio stream..then I had a feeling of WOW..it is a long path and tremendous development from those times. Gives lots of perspective as to what the label (read: record company) is as for now. We certainly all miss him as he is taking new steps living on a new continent. Hope he will be still involved somehow in the future , maybe some downtempo would be great. But even if no; he certainly has some everlasting impact on the history and development of Neogoa Records. Everlasting as a 50% producer of The Gate, which I still consider as the best goa trance piece in the whole world. It will be a killer Goa album by wizard from Ukraine - mr. Sky Technology. Usually musicians on this so-called Goa scene tend to express their gratitude towards people and friends who helped 'em to shape or inspire their music by mentioning them on CD inlay credits, but for me honestly 50-page booklet wouldn't be enough to thank so many wonderful people for being supportive towards ours input, creative work, our artists and their legacy. We went through peaks and valleys during the last 9 years and sometimes it wasn't easy, especially on the dynamic scene where independent labels are becoming endangered species, but having the faith in ourselves, in our artists and in our common ideas we survived and thanks to you we will continue to bring Goa and every other music with balls and passion, we feel you guys deserve to hear. Therefore, instead of promising you uber-compilations or parties, I will throw at you our upcoming artists roster for 2019./2020. and invite you all to follow us on our social media (@neogoarecords - Facebook, SoundCloud, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and to be an active part of our journey. Neogoa Posted March 18, 2020 Share Posted March 18, 2020 Since some people asked about the status of GoaD's CDs at the Bandcamp we have to post the annoucement here as well. Our whole production has been shut down till mid-April due to the Corona virus pandemic. We are not shipping any goods or items during that time and we want to act responsible towards our fans, artists or anyone else who might be affected by this situation. All orders and pre-orders were shipped prior to March 15th shut down. Full statement: Quote This year has been shitty so far on so many fronts, from Kobe's tragic death to this ongoing Corona virus madness that is happening around the Europe and the rest of the World. Many people are affected, some are affraid. And that is okay (to be affraid). We are entering the unknown territories and we are experiencing it as human-kind should. I've been silent on music related front during last couple of months due to the real life obligations, some personal projects, but label itself and people attached to the philosophy of Neogoa were and still are active. However, in these uncertain times we have to act as the responsible individuals. Therefore on this day I'm shutting down complete production (CD manufacturing, t-shirts pressing, orders processing, shipping of any physical goods/items) until mid-April 2020. We will continue to deal with the digital goods and our music will continue to be available at the Ektoplazm and Bandcamp in digital only format. This situation will hurt us for sure and it will reschedule our planned releases but the health and well-being of our fans and artists is the number one priority at the moment. I promise you, we have so much great music and ideas in the pipeline and we will unleash it at some point, but for now take care of yourselves and stay brave.
