psychasm Posted May 19, 2017 Share Posted May 19, 2017 Why does the kick disappear at the beginning of each bar up until the first big break? after that it gets drowned and then does the disappearing thing again from 2:18 onwards. Could be a phasing thing happening when the kick is layered on top of another but only gets cancelled out right at the beginning of the bar for some reason? Its as if it is playing only half - volume. Hey! Thank you for the feedback. Yes, the kick was not properly sidechained and one of the basses was absorbing some of the kicks sounds.
