My point is just that high bpms in trance isn't something new at all. But now a lot people have got this idea that high bpm = hard/killar/dark/whatever, and that's a load of bull.

Has the speed really increased so much? I mean, 10 years ago there were tunes between 120 and 160 in goa. Now pretty much all psytrance is 140-145. So we haven't got many slow tunes anymore.

Went to a club years ago when the beat got upto 360 bpm. That was fucking nuts. No idea what the tune was called but I think the DJ was Loftgroover. Don't know how fast music will get in psy trance, but if it's still good I don't mind.
