Lemmiwinks Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 OK so back in the days there weren't loads of videos by goa artists but still there were a handfull going around (AP - People Can Fly, Prana - Boundless, GNOTR - Rock Bitch Mafia,...) So today theoretically psytrance is a LOT more popular than it was in 96, and it's a lot more commercial... yet there are NO new videos!! (well, except for the BLT one which is what inspired my post So why is that? Don't tell me that it's for commercial reasons cause Alien Project is much more apealing to the masses than Astral Projection a few years ago... Guest Mike D Posted April 11, 2004 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Yeah I must admit alot of those dvd's aren;t that great... the ones with nie mixes and good visuals are good but I got a copy of The Gathering 2002 and apart from the two videoclips it was pretty tacky... Then there was also this funny story i heard (on psynews, i think) about japanese fans "performing" for GMS at a party with huge signs that read "GMS, Go" etc etc. will try to find it. Maybe it's got something to do with how the TV generation is "trained" to idolize artists. about videos, that's a good point... not seen a lot of new stuff. the dvd releases are not that good, they're mostly about huge festivals and too long to hold my interest. Was a bit cheesy, but had some great footage of Cosma performing live; may he rest in peace. i think hujaboy might of had a music video on his last release...
