Guest twizzle
In the shadowed night sky The moon sits sharp against infinity Slight breezes blow While cloudforms morph Swirling overhead Breathing This crisply crafted air A sip of water Swallowed Some entree's, slight nibbles Brought to us on a black plate By one of this evenings waiters Such a curious touch to the pallet The entanglement has begun, again Waiting and eager For the main course Hold on, hold on... Hold off Just wait Patience Is a virtue To the psychedelic traveller Rich vibrations move Through the air Through the ground Like breaking waves Crested by thoughts of trebel Along this darkened pathway Deeper, deeper still Shadows crawl Outwards Taken down impossible staircases Across never ending oceans Further...further...further Through time The ego wanders away Slowly, The present becomes finer As every facet evolves And comes closer The past and the future Intermingled As one As I'm flirting with infinity The waiter brings out a simply exquisite dish The wind rips through The rain washes me away It's time to let go Let's go all the way With a bolt of lightning Shattered Finally This moment Is everything
Guest mike
Have you been snacking from grannie's mushroom jar again? I really like your poem. It puts me in a kind of virtual 'flash-back mode'. The climax represents a very special moment in my life too - a genuine turning point or 'awakening'. Becoming aware of the whole. Becoming nothing to become all. The illusion of time shattered by the awesome presence of eternity. Aware of something so pure that by its very nature can never be named! This was a life-changing experience for me and I felt truely blessed by what I was shown, that what I had been searching for my whole life had been with me all along. To try to share or convey the message that this kind of experience holds with others is and always has been a major creative driving force throughout humanity. And while I believe it is impossible to 'enlighten' the uninitiated directly (if you know what I mean), it IS possible to motivate or 'nudge' them into the right direction through poetry, art, music, etc. So, Twizzle if you have any more poems you'd like to share with the world, don't hesitate to post them!
